CENTRALLY LOCATED CLEAN HOTEL
CENTRALLY LOCATED, CLEAN HOTEL, WITH DECENT SIZE ROOMS. EXCELLENT SERVICE. FOOD WAS WELL ABOVE AVERAGE. ONLY ISSUE IS THAT IF YOU ARE A LIGHT SLEEPER THE PROXIMITY TO RLY STATION AND BUS STATION COULD TROUBLE YOUR SLEEP

Room was not cleaned - found wastage and broken glass pieces from bed... I doubt whether it was sanitised or not after seeing all these. TV was not having subscription to routine entertainment channels.

Very good quality price ratio!
Everything was fine. Nothing out of the ordinary but completely satisfactory at the same time. For this price actually a very good deal. Breakfast was good. Very positive is to mention that they gave several additional complimentary water bottles per day upon request. Wifi was a little slow.

The stay was amazing. Hotel is in good condition. Bathrooms are clean and showers work great with great hot water pressure. Internet works incredible down side is having to keep getting new pin for wifi. Not much in menu but buffet breakfast was alright. Staff is friendly. Area is convenient but very loud noise through out night due to being next to train station. Overall its a great hotel.

Gr8 Hotel for gr8 price.
1. Rooms were nice clean with all facilities. 2. Gr8 Breakfast. idli, dosa, cutlet, fruits, milk, coffee, tea, cereals, juices, saute vegetables, salads, cakes, muffins and many more. 3. located in nice location next to railway station. So can also go outside for various cheaper food options (Katiyawadi thali etc) 4. Good hygiene overall. 5. Well behaved Staff. Cons. 1. It was little noisy during nights because it is exactly next to railway station. you may hear railway announcements at night. 2. Too congested for car parking.

Room condition was not good, the staff was also terrible. Over all if u don't have any options left then go for the fern.

Bad location for business hotel..
The location given ok the map is wrong, the hotel is next to railway station and central bus depot. I never intended to stay near so crowded and noisy place. Map shows it close to fatehganj circle. Day time you don't notice but at night trains honk on regular interval. If you are not used to it then you keep waking up at odd hours.

Great Hotel
The hotel room was really good, clean and well organised. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Only the surrounding neighborhood is noisy, other than that great hotel to stay.

I booked a King bed room but at the time of check in they gave me twin separate bed room. In spite of room booking in advance they have not kept the room. The person at reception was totally ignorant & kept saying that all the rooms are occupied.

Feedback on the Hogtel
I booked this hotel online having read the reviews and also looking at the images of the hotel. When I actually got there, I found that it is located in a very busy chaotic area and therefore felt a little uneasy in staying there. When I approached the hotel entrance it was dark and unwelcoming. Staff also were unwelcoming - no smile, no welcome greeting and when I asked to be shown the room I would be in, it took them a while to arrange this. The room was not to my standard. I decided not to stay there and chose another hotel.

Albergo vicinissimo alla stazione ferroviaria ed a quella degli autobus. Aeroporto a 4 chilometri, raggiungibile in un quarto d'ora. Ottima location.

Not up to the mark
The hotel is not up to the mark in terms of room size, comfort, cleanliness and the neighborhood. Rooms are extremely small and not soundproof at all. We could hear the TV from the adjacent room clearly. The corridors are not AC, carpets are soiled and overall, attention is not paid to such details. Being near the train and bus station, the neighborhood is extremely noisy as well. Staff is OK and breakfast was alright. Overall, it's not a family friendly hotel, If you are making a quick trip to Baroda and just need a room to stay near the station, consider this hotel.

Bad appreciation : - Reservation paid by Expédia.com, thus not really the choice of the room ; thus we think we had the worst (very noisy because the closest to the street and against the hoist of service) - Announced WIFI paying while it was included (on Expedia site), then refusals of connection leading us to change of ID / PASSWORD many times - Bottles of water paid when we checked out while they had been announced free (narrow-minded for a hotel of this category) - Exchange was announced in 70 rupees for 1 euro, then after complaint in 78 rupees (our taxi driver changed us 82) - High price for the drop at the airport by car of the hotel

A compact hotel with a great service
Fern Vadodara is a good hotel with a great service. It is conveniently located near the railway station but is quite different from a "railway station hotel" in terms of well appointed rooms, food and beverage and convenience. The staff is friendly but unobtrusive. The breakfast spread is large and variety is excellent. Dinners were also very good. If one were to look at the negatives (if at all) is the occasional loud whistle of the passing railway engine at night - but that adds to the attraction of the place, doesn't it ? Overall a great stay and a good value for money !

Selected this as it was close to railway station and had decent experience at Fern Ahmedabad. But it was not up to the expectation just because of the service. Desk person doesn't call you back with details of car hire even after promising to call back. Room service person won't come on first call as he had to go for dinner. After reminder call, comes and tells you that only 1 towel with single occupancy room allowed. In restaurant, one person takes down your room number but while you are leaving another person comes and asks you to pay bill even though its complimentary with room charges.

Fern Mixed Feelings Experience
On arrival the Hotel presented well, but the parking was a nightmare as it adjoined another hotel and cars were parked all over the place. Once entering the doors of the hoel I was greeted by friendly staff and this could be said about all of the staff. Unfortunately all of the good work of the staff was brought undone by noise from the Construction Work until 11.00pm each night and the continual passing of trains clunking long the railway tracks. To top it off the continual honking of horns from the road vehicles only made it difficult to have a good nights sleep. Even after changing rooms three times, there was no respite from the noises coming from outside.

Good stay
Neat and nice hotel in a good location. The rooms are well kept and clean. Loved the rain shower in the bathroom, very relaxing after a long day of work! Pleasant and helpful staff, willingly accommodated my request for a late check out.
