« The house was very clean and well kept! Plenty of space and the outside yard was very big! The neighborhood was safe and much to our surprise, a short walk to a beautiful river! It was close in proximity to downtown! Sara & Marvin were easy to get in touch with and were very responsive! The house is well stocked with everything you could need! The banana muffins were a sweet touch! I would recommend this place! »

« Absolutely loved our stay at yellow mountain cottage! Check-in was super easy, the house itself had just about everything you could need in terms of toiletries, linens, towels, and spices/cooking tools, which was really nice to not have to worry about. It was very clean and upkept, and such a cozy little home. We had so much fun in the creek, the scenery was beautiful. 10/10 would recommend! »

« Such a unique experience. Gave a weekend stay to my family of boys who love The Hobbit and anything adventure. The set up inside is so cozy and we loved having the fireplace outside. They really thought of everything to make our winter stay cozy and enjoyable. Enjoyed being close to the ski slopes as well so great location for that and some good restaurants nearby but feel somewhat secluded when you’re at the house which was nice. »

« We we here in June of 2025. The host went out or her way to make everything great for our stay. She left us a surprise in the refrigerator for our stay here during the NHRA event. The home was very comfortable and very clean. Not a complaint one. The home was so cozy and cooled very well and furnished with everything you will need with your stay. « This is an immaculate small house that also has a big deck and lawn which looks out over a beautiful trout stream. Unfortunately I did not bring my fly rod with me because I didn’t read the listing carefully. The trout were rising all around! I was more focused on the location in the tri city area. The place is clean, well appointed and the owners live right next door. I highly recommend it. The photo is from the stream bank. »

« Quaint and Privacy were impeccable cottage was also impeccable. Would stay there again. Home was spaced like we like it room wise and layout was nice. Loved the accents the bed and pillows outside on the porch. Nature about was very nice, turkey, birds, creek nearby was great. Location to Burnesville and Spruce Pine was to our liking and staff were very nice. »
