« A cosy home-from-home near the beach (3 min drive, 10-15 walking). It's on a seaside housing estate, but a respectable area. Plenty of room for our family get-together of six adults and four children. Large lounge and two bathrooms, reasonable-sized, well-provided kitchen and dining area. Two large fridges. Sadly, no Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch trains running the weekend we were there, but it must be exciting when they are. Our grandsons love the story of the Railway Children and staying in the...

« We had a lovely stay at Amelia Cottage while visiting family in Battle. Such a nice and warm welcome from the owner. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. The garden is lovely and well maintained with many flowers. The location is perfect, it is close to the playground and to Battle High Street. The local supermarket Jempsons is only a few minutes walk away and that was also very handy. We will definitely book again! »

« If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest. »
