« Nice location with a pretty garden . We were visiting during the recent long heatwave , we asked if we could have a fan as it was very hot in the loft area where you sleep , told clearly No !! I would suggest there should a fan in the property to make it more pleasant. We visited other places that had fans which made it a much more comfortable »

« Lovely little cottage, spotlessly clean and well placed for lots of places. The host left a very informative folder which was helpful, and came to introduce herself and make sure we had everything we needed. Would visit again »

« A cosy home-from-home near the beach (3 min drive, 10-15 walking). It's on a seaside housing estate, but a respectable area. Plenty of room for our family get-together of six adults and four children. Large lounge and two bathrooms, reasonable-sized, well-provided kitchen and dining area. Two large fridges. « The house was not very clean and is in need of decorating and updatingI did not feel comfortable using the shower due to dirt around tray and in the grout / tilesThe kitchen is looking very old and there were stains on the walls, top of the fridge and inside the cupboard that houses the cooking equipment whilst the cupboard for the plates, cups and glasses is bowed and does not look safe.There were also stains on the washing machine fasciaThe ‘porch’ is also water stained inside »

« Lovely vacation! Owners really helpful and agreeable. Hiccup with the booking process with cottages.com left me with the wrong dates and very upset. Owners gave extremely helpful and reassuring advice and holiday went without any more problems apart from m25! Thank you both of you! »

« Lovely property, very clean, lovely bed linen and towels. Owners very helpful with check in and making sure everything was okay with us. Everything we needed at the property including separate drinks fridge. Nice bath and powerful shower. We try to holiday on the beach at Pevensey Bay every year. Although we were lucky enough to have great weather, having direct access to the beach means we can still enjoy the views whatever the weather. There are always beautiful sunrises and sunsets there....

« What a wonderful place to stay in Hastings. Our stay was during one of the hottest weeks of the year but the host left electric fans to keep us cool, which was perfect and it was a short walk to the beach so always the chance to cool down in the sea too. Also stated that I was gluten free upon booking and were left a lovely hamper that included gluten free snacks. Lovely touches to an already beautiful apartment. »

« Lovely property, we had everything that we needed, it was hot so made use of the garden lovely seating area and hot tub, loved the lights in the garden in the evening. Beds were very comfortable, the place was very clean and dog friendly and plenty of fans to help keep us coll during the heatwave, we had an enjoyable stay. Thank you to Gary he was helpful and gave suggestions of where to take the dog for walks. Loved the sandy beach too »
