« Lovely place to stay, very beautiful and peaceful. Idyllic countryside, even heard an owl at night. Didn't meet the owners or see the dogs so can't comment on that aspect.Bed was massive and comfy.The place had everything you could need for a comfortable break.We did download the 'what 3 words app' which found the words but then directed us to Waze or Google maps, but despite having phones open on each app we had difficulty finding the location as it was 4.30pm and getting dark. « We stayed at Buttercup Cottage for four nights. It is located 5 mins drive from Rye town centre in a quiet, private location with allocated parking. The studio is spacious and the facilities are excellent for self-catering. We also ate twice at Layla's, a turkish restaurant, which is highly recommended. « We had a lovely time staying in the Old Dairy. It‘s a comfortable and well decorated space. All the rooms were clean and the surrounding barns and Farm House made a charming ensemble. We especially enjoyed spotting pheasants from the balcony in the living room every morning. The hosts Robin and Christine were very helpful and welcoming.
