« What a beautiful location! Lovely hotel in a perfect spot. The staff were all so freindly and helpful, especially the extremely polite dark haired gentleman at the bar when we arrived. He took the trouble to show me to the room and explained everything. The breakfast was also very good, great choice and lovely to sit with a view of the Abbey. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend. »

« Stayed for 1 night. Excellent location close to Battle and scenic views, amazing staff, and great experience overall. »

« Très bon séjour »

« Staff not very friendly (both on check in and check out). It seemed as if they would like to be anywhere except where they were then and there and they did not seem keen to help with anything. The walls are very thin and people speaking in the corridor sound like they are in your room. You can also hear everything outside. Did not have a good night's sleep and would not book to stay here again. »

« This is an English Pub,no pretence is made or implied to be a Gastro-Pub.Just a good honest pub.Clean, hospitable, polite and importantly dog loving. In short an establishment that does exactly what it says on the box.Totally authentic, bravo. »
