Historic private elegance. Walk to U of Arizona.

An elegant vintage home in the heart of the university area; minutes to downtown and Banner UMC hospital. Close to dining and cultural events. Located in a quiet neighborhood.
The home has a fully walled yard and locked gate for secure, private, on property parking. Two reserved parking spots are also available in front of the house. The home is beautifully furnished; full of charm, with thoughtfully curated art. Ideal for couples/friends/families who want comfortable gathering areas for shared time, but also desire separate bedrooms & bathrooms. As of August 2025 we have added an additional renovated study called the "Blueberry lounge" (180 sq, ft.) ; apart from the main house for study and relaxing.
A recently renovated bathroom is adjacent to the primary bedroom. The primary bedroom includes a Memory Foam king sized bed. The additional bedrooms features a twin and queen beds with Tuft and Needle mattresses. These two bedrooms are in their separate area with a large walk-in rain shower creating privacy for all. WIFI equipped for internet access on your device, also connected to the Smart TV's in living room and queen bedroom; simply login to your favorite streaming apps.
Our backyard features a roomy furnished covered patio for enjoying the outdoor Tucson atmosphere. There is a charcoal BBQ for your outdoor cooking. For pet owners, the property has a large secure yard for your furry BFF to roam safely. A portion of pet fees collected will be contributed to Tucson area animal welfare agencies.

Minutes to food shopping, coffee shops, live music, McKale Center, Tucson Poetry Center, Tucson Festival of Books, Tucson Rodeo-"Fiesta de los Vaqueros", and the Arizona Stadium. Enjoy Tucson's varied UNESCO City of Gastronomy designation for its rich culinary heritage. Tucson prides itself on "The best 23 miles of Mexican food". The home is a great home base for Southern Arizona bird-watching outings. Close to Sunlink-the Tucson streetcar and convenient to bus lines.

A10 minute drive to Randolph Park; featuring a public year-'round handicap/children accessible swimming pool zoo, tennis, a golf driving range, pool, golf courses, a walking/biking loop, dog park and a duck pond. Also home of Arizona Wildcat baseball stadium- Hi Corbett field.


Your hosts and owners of the property have been in the hospitality/hotel business and culinary arts for their entire careers; taking pride in guest comfort and making sure all the details are right for their stay. We have lived in the Rincon Heights neighborhood for over 30 years and call it home with pride. WE ARE NOT A MANAGEMENT COMPANY and do not collect additional Host Fees.

U of A grad weekend

It was perfect. Close to the university, clean home, felt very safe. Ann and Bruce had some extras that we appreciated after travel, ie cold water in the fridge, homeade cookies, a bag of chips and jar of salsa. Our daughter graduated so we aren’t likely to go back, but I would highly recommend it.

We all found that the beds were a little hard and the pebbled flooring in one of the bathrooms was uncomfortable for showering. Apart from that, and missing a dishwasher, it was a very nice property and very conveniently located in Tucson.

Amazing house

A few of us came to visit a friend that lives in the area. We did a few searches and found Casa Reina, the pictures looked amazing but it’s even better in person. Such beautiful touches inside and out. Bruce and Ann had fresh baked cookies and plenty of snack and drinks upon arrival. The beds were comfortable, we all slept like babies. You are walking distance to the UA stadium and a little hike to some shopping but wasn’t bad in the beautiful weather we had. We have told our friends and family about your little gem. Thanks again! House very welcoming with many special touches. The Christmas tree, snacks, souvenir postcard, homemade cookies all added to our Christmas experience. Loved this house and the attention to detail by the owners. It’s walking distance to the U of A campus and was perfect for our family trip to Tucson. The backyard is fantastic! The owners were very responsive and great to work with. FYI- the home does not have a dishwasher, but that wasn’t an issue during our stay. We will definitely plan to visit again!

Perfect Oasis

We absolutely loved our time staying at this property! We were in town to get my daughter ready to move into the dorms at U of A, so it was wonderful to have the space to bring home our shopping scores, take things out of boxes and get them organized, and even wash her sheets and towels ahead of move-in day. The house was such a beautiful and restful place to come home to at the end of each day. The host family has a true eye for decorating -- blending cool and calm colors and textures with lively pops of color in tiles or artwork, crystals, and local objects. We even arrived to homemade cookies in the refrigerator and a package of chips and salsa! We communicated with the owners a couple times over our week there, and they are genuinely nice people and wonderful to work with. I'm already planning a return to Tucson, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Wonderful Experience

What a great stay! The hosts were wonderful and so welcoming upon our arrival. They provided bottles of water, some carbonated beverages, bag of ice, homemade chocolate chip cookies and chips and salsa ready for us when we walked in the door. The space was open, comfortable and had a nice feel to it. There was a nice patio area in the back with some shade. The kitchen is on the smaller side but it worked perfectly since there was only three of us. The bedrooms were also comfortable and there were extra blankets if you needed them. We loved our experience and plan to return. The hosts made our experience memorable.

A HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Casa Reina is an absolute jewel! Well appointed, spotless, with its historical charm it will capture your heart as soon as you open the front gate. The house is spacious and has a wonderful private backyard where you can relax while observing the hummingbird coming in for some nectar. The host is superb, we found homemade cookies, a well stocked fridge and a welcoming handwritten note. The hosts were prompt in replying to to our messages and everything worked out like a charm. The location is central to everything, shopping, the UofA, Tucson Sonora Desert Museum, Downtown (including the superb Gem and Mineral Museum hosted in the historical Court House), restaurants
 The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Don’t miss out, make this place yours for a while.

Comfortable getaway close to university campus

Terrific location, clear instructions from our host made it easy to get situated. The back patio and yard gave us a lovely setting to relax upon arrival. We were two sets of couples and the house was perfect to give us each privacy since the bedrooms are separated into two different wings. Clean, comfortable, great set-up. If we return to Tucson, we'll stay here again in a heart beat!

Perfect for our family of 5

My family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens) stayed at Casa Reina for 3 nights as part of our tour of Arizona's National Parks. It was the perfect home base for us. The house is adorable and looks just like the pictures posted on VRBO. I especially loved all the local artwork throughout. The house was equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and the hosts even left some homemade snacks and cold beverages for our arrival. Beds were comfortable. I enjoyed early mornings on the back patio, sipping coffee and watching the F-16s from the local air force base fly overhead! The location is convenient, and easy to find. Just about a half hour from either side of Saguaro National Park. It is in an urban area, but we felt very safe here. If we were to return to Tucson, we would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for everything.
