« The property is spacious and well positioned for the beach. Difficult to park a car on their driveway so had to park elsewhere. The BBQ and oven were not clean. Leak in shower room and one shower not working but fixed whilst we were there. The property is lovely and the host personable. With the charges for cleaning i would expect it to be spotless. Check in time too late at 5pm and check out 9.30am too early should be at the very least 10am and 4pm. Especially with all the steps to get...

« A beautiful old Cornish tin mine, engine house, located almost directly onto one of counties best surfing beaches with unique accommodation as well as being within walking distance of the village shop and pub( which serves great food). Not much more one could ask for! »

« We had a lovely stay at this property in Porthtowan. We were a party of 8, 2 families, and the house was perfect. Very clean, everything we needed and a lovely welcome pack of goodies when we arrived. Brilliant communication throughout with the host. 5 min walk to the beach, great bar and restaurant also just a 5 min walk. Bit cold when we went but we braved the sea and so glad we did! Great time had by all. »

Getting there does involve ten minutes of single track country roads but they were very quiet and it was worth it for the idyllic location. So peaceful, beautiful outside area too. And the clearest night skies! We had a fabulous time and still only 8miles away from Falmouth. Five stars from us! »

« This is a charming property off a back laneway within the city. Quiet, light filled, surrounded by greenery. Absolutely charming. Was equipped with everyone we needed. Very restful. Easy walk to downtown Truro. Sainsbury’s just 10 minute walk up the hill. Truro a wonderful centre from which to tour Cornwall. »

« Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem kleinen Haus. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr gut. Besonders schön ist die Lage: man befindet sich direkt an dem Wanderweg an der Küste und es sind auch nur ein paar Schritte bis in das hübsche Zentrum des Ortes. Bei gutem Wetter hat man die Gelegenheit sich in dem kleinen hübschen Garten aufzuhalten. Für uns war es in dem Haus sehr schön, man muss aber wissen dass die Einrichtung sehr einfach ist und einiges etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist....

« What a wonderful house and location! Spacious, clean, and well-appointed inside, and a lovely garden to explore outside. The location is quiet and secluded, and ideally situated barely more than a stone's throw from numerous local attractions. The kitchen is really well equipped, bookshelves well stocked, and beds very comfortable. Will (our host) was very responsive prior to and throughout our stay. We hope to stay again next time we visit the area. »
