« Lovely place to stay, beach perfect for the dogs and people all very friendly. Accommodation good, could have been much better with a welcome pack! The steps were a challenge, I consider myself quite fit but 74steps to climb with luggage not easy, added to which my husband scraped his car on the hand rail while trying to park on the tricky slope. The views were amazing from the deck as expected. »

I had my 90 year old mother with me so the steps into the property were a bit of a challenge, particularly the step over the threshold. « It was a little tricky to find initially as we arrived in the dark. The Barn has been tastefully furnished an absolute stylish kitchen and living area with lots of room. It was spotless. « What a gem The Laurels is. We enjoyed a long weekend at the cottage and had everything we needed. « We really enjoyed the peace and quiet in the country. A wonderful apartment for two, with everything we needed. Even everything for Cornish cream tea was ready. Sue explained everything in a friendly manner. Most people probably overlook the driveway to the property when they arrive. But with so few houses, it's still possible. We had a very relaxing time in Sue's cottage. Thank you very much. »

« We had a lovely stay at this property in Porthtowan. We were a party of 8, 2 families, and the house was perfect. Very clean, everything we needed and a lovely welcome pack of goodies when we arrived. Brilliant communication throughout with the host. 5 min walk to the beach, great bar and restaurant also just a 5 min walk. Bit cold when we went but we braved the sea and so glad we did! Great time had by all. »

« We only stayed 3 days and wished we could have stayed longer! The VRBO is very neat and orderly. There was only 2 of us and we had p PLENTY of space. The living/dining area is very extensive. We got to meet the sheep and walk the grounds. Just beware of any stinging nettle- I accidentally brushed up on it. Would definitely recommend. »

« Loved the position, we enjoyed our meals on the balcony, listening to the surf, watching the board riders, generally enjoying the view. During the day we either walked the beach (be mindful of the tides, nearly caught one day!) or chose the well worn path over the hill, where, thanks to the locals we discovered the coffee stop en route to the next village!
