« 3rd time staying here and we continue to love it! AC kept us cool through a heat wave and the lake and the deck were the peaceful reset we needed. We will probably be back next summer! »

« Cheryl’s place is a lovely cottage near the lake. We loved everything they did to make our stay more enjoyable, from many pairs of water shoes (definitely helpful for swimming!) to folding chairs, floats, and many different coffee-making options. We also loved the wind chimes and napping bed on the screened-in porch.The swimming was good, although it’s a busy lake with many motor boats. We had some long swims and the water was warm / comfortable. It’s best to swim near shore to avoid the boats....

« The cabin was ok in general, but some things made the stay not very comfortable. 1. The hot water was very smelly, like eggs. The entire cabin was very stinky after each shower. 2. There was a tray of liquid and mold under the kitchen sink. 3. There was no hairdryer even though it was included in the listing. On the bright side, the cabin is super close to the main street and not too far from some main hiking spots. The cabin space was good, and the room was pretty clean. »

« This house was super clean, beautifully decorated, and quite comfortable for our family of nine. The hostess, Jeanne, was kind, thoughtful, and quite willing to accomodate our every need. She even welcomed us with a delicious charcuterie spread! We would absolutely stay here again! »

« The two of us had a wonderful 4-day stay at the cabin. Julie and Russel were great hosts. Everything in the cabin works and the place is very comfortable. Really spacious for a couple and I think would also work well for a family of 4. It was lovely to sit on the deck overlooking the pond and have our coffee and lunch there, and also enjoyed being in the porch. We saw a Great Blue Heron a couple of times near the pond and my wife saw some foxes on the far side of the pond early one morning....

« This place lives up to its name... it is small, set back in a wooded area off the road and it is a delight. It is the best appointed in terms of human comforts of any rental we have had - for things like coffee, spices, half and half and more. And the hosts are absolutely the best - incredibly helpful and responsive. It isn't fancy. But it is fantastic. »

« We were back in the area to visit with family and found this place. What a gem! first of all, the host, Billy, was so prompt and clear with all communications. Then on to the property. Easy to find, plenty of parking, clean, quiet and thoughtfully contained everything you would need while staying, even information about local restaurants and coffee shops. The cottage is oh so cute and has a large outdoor area with plenty of seating and all the supplies you would ever need. Do not hesitate to...
