Charming Cottage in Private Lake Community (Pet-Friendly!)

Tucked away in the private Sleepy Hollow Lake Community, White Bunny Cottage will quickly feel like your home away from home. Just a 20 minute drive to Hudson, 10 minutes from the quaint village of Athens, and under 45 minutes to Windham, Hunter, and Catamount. Dotted with friendly rural towns and panoramic scenery, the Northeast Catskills has no shortage of activities for all interests.

1200 Sq Ft. Ranch style cottage nestled on its very private and secluded half acre. Easy access to Sleepy Hollow Lake and the Hudson River Boat launch. A 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom house that can comfortably accommodate seven adults with 3 bedrooms; 2 queen beds, 1 twin bed, and a sleeper couch with a full bed. There are 2 full bathrooms and a laundry room.

The open floor concept is perfect for entertaining and relaxing alike. A fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove and oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with a full freezer is perfect for cooking (or reheating leftovers!) along with plenty of cabinet space for snacks. The living room has a gas fireplace to relax with a good book or glass of wine! Walk out onto the outdoor deck with a patio table and propane grill. Relax by the fire pit surrounded by nature.

The home is equipped with high-speed internet, a large wall mounted smart TV, family board games and central heating/cooling controlled by a Nest thermostat. We want you to leave your stay relaxed, recharged, and ready to come back!

Guests will have access to the full house and yard, as well as all community amenities. There is a closet in the laundry room containing the hosts’ personal belongings, which will be locked.

Dogs are welcome for a non-refundable pet fee of $100. We ask that they do not spend time on the furniture or beds. Please note, the yard is NOT fenced in and surrounded by woods and brush which inhabit various wildlife, you will want to keep your pets on a leash. Kindly clean up after your pets with the provided poop baggies.
