« The cabin was a perfect place from which to explore the Adirondacks. Traveling with a toddler (2.5 years) and a dog made finding a place tricky, but this was a great fit. The fireplace made some unexpectedly wet and chilly days so much more enjoyable. The screened in outdoor porch helped us hang out outside despite black fly season. Communication pre-checkin was great and we were even able to check in a couple hours early. Overall, a great place. Would definitely stay here again. »

« Really enjoyed the place! If you are looking for peace and quiet then you need to book this cabin. Sit out on the screened in porch or take a nap out there as well and listen to the St. Regis River run over the rocks. Plenty of acreage that Louie and Sandy have to walk along the established trails and take in the smells of the Adirondack forest. Just down the road is the Catherineville State Forest 1600 acres to explore as well as Sylvan Falls. Potsdam is about 20-25 mins away with some good...

« We are the original owners of this property so it was especially wonderful to stay once more at this beautiful property. The weather was fantastic, we had a family reunion of sorts with other siblings and family staying at other homes around the lake. Being able to share this special piece of heaven with our grandchildren was especially great. Two of the 3 grandsons caught fish and one caught a Pike! Very exciting! This property has it all - a beautiful lake view, log cabin with room for family...

« This cabin, checked every box that was needed for a perfect peaceful, relaxing, unwinding, recharging weekend get away for my wife and I. A must hike owls head mountain. Absolutely amazing. So much to do both directions just down the road from this location. The cabin was extremely clean. Felt just like home. The hot tub was fabulous on a cold evening. Will definitely look into for future weekends. »

« We really enjoyed our week at Camp Pinecone. The location is ideal for enjoying the Adirondacks - Tupper Lake, Saranac lake, and Lake Placid are all fairly close. Fish Creek Pond offers a quiet setting with access to other remote Ponds via Canoe or Kayak as well as Upper Saranac Lake (via the narrow channel) with a larger boat. « We were so happy to have found this getaway for our family of 7. The kids said it was better than Disney World! There were accessible hikes, good restaurants, and comfortable accommodations. The hosts left a wealth of information about things to do in the area, my husband and boys enjoyed fishing from the boat out on the lake, and the nightly fires in the fireplace were lovely. We hope to return soon! »
