« Backyard looked terrible. Wifi spotty. Told host wifi was in and out; said he'd try and fix it but it was not resolved and never got a second response after hearing from him the initial time. »

« The host did not provide access until after 7:30, with a 5 pm check-in; we were already arranging alternate accommodations with VRBO when the host finally communicated. The place itself was fine, but there was only one mug in the kitchen. Maybe we should have brought our own? The kitchen floor was tilted, and it felt a little like a roller coaster in there. The location was the best part of the stay. The place was clean and the bed comfortable, and we enjoyed the porch facing the town center. »

« Very kind and accommodating hosts. There was a blackout problem, and also some bees underneath the deck outside the cabin, but that being said this is a cottage in the middle of the wood some of that is to be expected to not bother me, and host is taking care of it once brought to attention. « We stayed on a rather difficult weather week... so we didn't get to really experience the creek and outdoor space, which makes it harder to judge this rental which is cozy in size, but a little unusual in layout and dark on dreary days. In general it was fine - one word of caution for folks who are overly sensitive to poison ivy - the property itself is lovely but the surrounding woods are loaded with it right up to the edges . »

« If you’re planning to stay here, there are two important things to know BEFORE you get there. Firstly, there is a good chance you won’t get reception anywhere near this town. Get your check in instructions with the WiFi info and door code before you drive into town. Secondly, the water here smells rotten eggs. This is true for the sinks and the shower. « We loved our stay! The property went above our expectation with their kitchen supplies and laundry option as well as abundant supply of towels. The stay guide was easy to refer to in order to find what we need, the communication was very smooth, and the owner we luckily met gave us all the great recommendations. We loved both the winery and restaurant he recommended! »
