Town of Gallatin : Bateaux-maisons

« This is a wonderful little houseboat. Perfect for two. Its quiet and peaceful, great for recharging yourself. The hosts were super easy to deal with. Present enough without feeling overwhelming. A quick car ride to Kingston which has a number of fun things to do. Some great breweries and restaurants in the area. Highly recommend.(Keep in mind the water for the sinks and shower is not potable so bring some water with you for drinking.)We will definitely be coming back! »

« This charming 'yacht' perhaps was a bit oversold by the title. The boat was very clean. The marina it was in felt safe and everybody was very friendly. There was a shower room at the marina if you wanted to shower in a bigger space than what the boat offered. (Imagine showering in a phonebooth with a toilet and sink in there.) We loved sitting out on the boat at night as the sun was setting. It was very peaceful. As far as what the word "yacht" envokes in a person's mind, this didn't necessarily...
