Town of Clermont : Bateaux-maisons

« What a really fun escape for my daughter, 31 and I, 60, To just sit outside on the water and look at the bridges, boats and colorful trees was relaxing. Sweet Pea is a cozy lil’ houseboat. The bed is so comfortable! We slept like babies! We stopped in the restaurant & bar, Castaways on the premises Friday night and so glad we did. The food was surprisingly good. They had karaoke night. The atmosphere was so much fun! We drove to Rhinebeck, Kingston and Poughkeepsie…. Loved all these towns close...

« This was our second time staying on the boat. Everything far exceeded our expectations. It is better than staying at a hotel. »

« Adequate for the night but very small. »

« Owners were very helpful when the heat would not work and fixed it immediately. We loved watching the sailboats come in to get their masts put up by the marina crew. »
