« We saw many beautiful birds while on the property. The gated community of villas is quite charming and tranquil with a view of the lake. The rental property is beautiful and and host is super easy to communicate with. We are very pleased with our decision to book. There were a few stray cats our daughter enjoyed tending to. « The strong points are that it’s very calm/ quiet and in the middle of a large nice garden where you can already see a bunch of animals. No restaurant / breakfast on site but you have a few options nearby (walking distance) or you can take the car. Also the kitchen are well equipped if you to cook yourself something (incl a blender which is nice for pina/ mango smoothie :) »

« The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. The owner offered us a lift into La Fortuna on our first day, but beyond that we had to keep booking Ubers which also were quite unreliable. The cabin was nice but could do with a bit of upkeep —...
