Overall, the home met our needs for the trip and was within walking distance of downtown (which was a priority). The biggest issue we had was with management. When we arrived we were hoping to take showers, but neither of the handles in BOTH showers would turn (and believe me we tried pulling in every direction and put as much force as we felt comfortable doing for fear of breaking either the handles or tiles). Having worked in property management I know that Vacassa is basically a big corporate management group, so I was expecting that reporting an issue would be a hassle - however, it was worse than even I expected. We reported the issue the evening of our arrival and again the morning/afternoon after (having had no one arrive yet to look at the issue). Both times we were simply routed to a call center where they said they were "putting in a maintenance request" but could never give us any other information as far as when we could expect it to be resolved or if there was even a way for them to contact the owner to ask if there was some sort of "trick" to using the showers. In the end, we forewent showering for the day but did (LUCKILY!) happen to run into a maintenance man, presumably for the complex, on our way out.. We were able to explain the issue to him and he came into the condo and was able to get them working - the issue seemed to be heavy corrosion.
