« Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh! We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced....

« Nice hotel with spacious room on 4th floor. Restaurant was good for evening meal with salmon fillet. Camden Ale was nice although £7.20/pint. Good service and breakfast was nice. The bathroom has some mould on the silicone around the bath and a gap at the pivot of the shower screen which results in the floor becoming wet. »
