« We love the decor. I was blessed to run into an older woman who showed me some of the phongraphs and music boxes in the lobby. They have an old Toyota car out front that is beautiful. The coffee area was a nice place to take a break and read. We stayed in the traditional room which had tatami mats and futons. The air conditioning worked great fighting the Kyushu humid summer. « A small hotel as compared with other hotels of the same group, and quite an old property. Our room with twin bed was big though, but unfortunately it was on a low floor and our view of the river outside was badly blocked by the top of the restaurant below us. We booked very early and wondered why a room with such a view was arranged for us.The onsen water was very special and made my skin nice and slippery.
