Unit 401 Getaway to a Hidden Gem Studio - COMFY MATTRESS! This unit has a unique view and living area arrangement. KING BED with Cocoon Foam Mattress (true comfort) and brand new FULL SIZE SLEEPER SOFA w/gel mattress! Plus dining area for (4), plus sofa chair. Coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave and stove to cook. This space has been updated to be peaceful and comfortable. Balcony is spacious with patio furniture to sit and enjoy the view.

Please view photos. You get a sunrise right from your room! Jet skies, ships, boats all passing by from all sides of the building. Witness all the Wildlife and Florida living all from our patio. The unit is a short walk to the pool, laundry mat is downstairs and the restaurants are about 1-2 mins away, Tiki Bar by the beach (live music daily for a couple of hours) and a full bar by the canal as well. Very easy to have a chill vacay here.

Parking: Free parking for guests at The Inn with a parking pass we provide. Beachfront parking is available (pay to park).
Unit Condition on Check-In: Guests must walk through the unit upon check-in and contact us immediately if they are not satisfied with the property. We reserve the right to send maintenance or housekeeping to address any concerns and make it right. If a guest is not happy with the property upon arrival and wishes to cancel, we will issue a full reimbursement only if the guest does not stay in the unit. No reimbursements will be issued if the guest stays and does not report dissatisfaction upon check-in.
Self-Serve Homes: Our homes are self-serve, and guests are advised to bring their own consumables. What do we provide? We provide towels, linens, a fully equipped kitchen, all furnishings, utilities, free Wi-Fi, free parking, and access to all amenities. Additionally, our cleaning crew leaves two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, one paper towel roll in the kitchen, three trash bags, dish detergent, one sponge, hand soaps, travel-sized shampoo and conditioner, and two coffee packs.

The unit we stayed in was in an unsecured building and immediately there was an unpleasant odor in that building as well in the unit. One night when we returned to the unit, there was a man in the common 2nd floor landing area resting in a lounge chair. We had no idea whether he was a guest or not. The A/C heat unit was so loud and sounded like water running in a bathtub every time it cycled on. The vent fan in the bathroom was very loud. The mattress and the pillows on the king bed were of very low quality and both my husband and I have back pain after our stay. The comforter on the bed had stains on it. When the weather turned cold, we turned the A/C heat unit to heat on our last night. In the middle of the night, the smoke detector went off because of dust in the unit and we had the burnt smell in the unit. There were two small refrigerators in the unit and one of them was completely frozen over. This is the worst experience we’ve ever had.

Everything was filthy. Dishes in the cabinets, the stove, the counter, the floors. It was as if the place hadn’t been properly cleaned. Furthermore what were provided for the kitchen was a half used dish soap, a used sponge, and one nasty dishwasher tablet when we were supposed to receive two. When i contacted the host about it, they spoke like they intended to fix the issue and then ignored me for the rest of my stay. Additionally, standing in the kitchen i could smell someone smoking- fresh smoke, not as if someone had smoked inside previously.

Great Stay. Affordable and Quaint.
The property was as advertised. A couple of extras that we noticed was the presence of an additional mini-fridge in the kitchen. That was huge as we like to purchase fruit and drinks to keep in the room for snacks. The couch was located against the wall by the kitchen which I are it easier to pull out the sofa bed.The room itself was very clean. The unit is located on the 2nd floor. If you are planning to enjoy the two onsite pools, the small pool is minimum 4ft deep and bigger pool is 3 feet on shallow end.The only negative that we noticed was when the A/C cycled off. It got uncomfortably hot very quickly.These next couple of things do not go against the owner. The game room takes a very long time to cool off. By the time it started cooling off, we were ready to leave and we went at night (nothing against this units owner). Also, wouldn’t advise swimming in the community beach. Water was nasty and murky looking. Overall, we would visit this unit again if ever vacationing to this location.

Typical beach type studio nice area
Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Unfortunately we were not here for a vacation. We had family business to attend to. However at sunrise it was a pleasure watching the dolphins from the balcony. Being able to walk to the restaurant was a plus. Maybe next time we can do a bonified vacation here. Carmen always answered any questions I had within a timely manner. .

Great location and beautiful views but the unit needed a deep clean.
The location is great with beautiful views, short walk to restaurants and pier. The unit is pretty dated and unclean with halfway torn off drapes and clogged drains. Towels were not clean and had hair all over them, the pillows were super flat and when I took off the pillow case I was sick to my stomach with the amount of human fluids on them. Stove had caked on food, the microwave was splattered on and the walls had ketchup stains, the toilet had mold under the rim, the floors were dirty and corners had an extra accumulation of grime and other dirt. Also, when we went out for a walk we came back to the TV being on at high volume (we never turned it on). I reached out to the manager with my concerns considering the price and cleaning fee they charged did not reflect the VRBO or anyone’s standards. It took quite a while for the manager to respond and it was way too late for anything to be done that night. The next day we couldn’t get back into the unit because they changed the code and it took a half an hour to get back in. The ketchup stain was washed off the walls, the stove plates replaced, a plug in the bathtub, clean towels finally and what looked like two new pillows. The pillows smelled like fried food and had hair on them so sadly they were not new. Unit was not cleaned after all, the sink was still clogged and we checked out the next day. Manager is not local and insisted that it was clean but pictures and videos don’t lie unit has been so neglected. Cleaners needed!

Another great stay
This is our second stay with Carmen and you cannot beat it. Beautiful location, easy check in, comfortable and clean. We didn't arrive until 1 am and had no problem getting through security without the parking pass. We just let her know where we were staying and who we rented through. We will be back again next year!

Very pleasant
Perfect location over-seeing the water channel to the east and Tampa Bay to the west. Perfect for our needs as a resting place as we were sight seeing most of the time. We stayed over Thanksgiving and manatee were plentiful at the free viewing area.

We chose this property based on the view & amenities offered (mainly the beach & water-sport rentals advertised in the pictures). The view was great, the room was ok. It was very clean, however it had a musty smell. The beach & water sport rentals were unavailable. We were told by property staff that the rentals haven’t been available for a “long time”. The beach was closed post hurricane, which would be understandable except we received multiple messages prior to check in (including the day we arrived) stating it was open and available.

Great View and amenities just the right distance from Tampa
This was a great location for a quiet getaway to enjoy everything this area of Florida has to offer (beach, water activities, sunsets, etc.) with easy access to Tampa (about 30 minutes). We look forward to having a longer trip on our next visit!
