« We really enjoyed our stay here. Cottage was clean and comfortable, in a beautiful location. Felt "away from it all" but also only a 5 min drive or so from the main Buxton to Ashbourne road so easy to get to places. Owners communication was excellent and the on site facilities were good. « Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you. »

« We enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was clean, well stocked and on a quiet street. The host communicated before our arrival and the details and instructions were easy to understand. The cottage was less than a 10 minute walk to the town square. A bit of a hill coming back to the cottage but not difficult at all. Hebden Bridge is a beautiful village and when we come back, we’d definitely stay here again. Thanks Nic! »

« Where to begin, think I may run out of superlatives! Our Sheldon Cottage was the most wonderful place to spend 4 days. The view alone was priceless. Steve and Hazel have designed the cottage to the highest possible standard and it has everything one could possibly need. It is wonderfully equipped for anyone with a disability, a wheelchair can easily whizz around all the accommodation. We loved the wonderful notices in the cottage, all suggestions rather than orders, all so gentle. Very luxurious...

« Well thought out cottage design very well presented but testing for size - just an extra 5% of space would yielded 20% increase in convenience and enjoyment. Hosts and neighbours are excellent. Parking is unusual but workable. As a couple (one Aussie and one Aussie born in Yorkshire) we really enjoyed our time at this cottage and would highly recommend it. Walk to village is 10 minutes and huge number of attractions within 40 mins. »

« Spent 4 nights in this lovely, comfortable and well equipped property. Great location with walks from the door and well placed to explore the Holme Valley, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, National Coal Mining Museum and for wandering off to the Peak District. Also convenient for Huddersfield. Quiet location minutes from Almondbury where there are shops, pubs cafe and also from Farnley Tyas and it’s pub. Note: the property is on a bus route to Huddersfield. Would we stay again? Definitely »
