« My friend and I spent a wonderful 10 days here. The house is well equipped with everything you need for cooking, games, chilling. The pool is amazing and Marian is an exceptional host, easy to communicate with and going over and above the necessary required. The highlight was the monkeys, who moved through the field in behind a couple of times and gave us some great viewing opportunities. Definetly recommend. »

« Location was good, looked forward to it. But the place was completely unacceptable. Everything was filthy. No dish towels to contemplate cleaning the dirty dishes. That didn't matter much, the fridge wouldn't cool anything. Sinks were filthy. Shower area filthy. Weird electrical buzzing noise. Air conditioning was useless. Doesn't matter, the second bed in the main living area was impossible to even attempt to cool as there was no way to close the windows completely in all but the bedroom. There...

« Baliyana Lodge is a slice of paradise - beautifully landscaped grounds among the native trees on a hillside overlooking a valley towards the ocean. Remote but only 15 mins to the beach and 25 mins to Tamarindo. The hosts could not have been nicer, wonderful, healthy breakfast included, quiet, peaceful and serene location.
