The property is exactly the same as the photos, it is clean and tidy. The bedding and towels are super white like they are new. The cookware and dining utensils are so clean to use without worries. We are most impressed by its stunning ocean view, so happy to see the beaches and ocean everyday. We really enjoy our 8 days stay at Burgess.

The manager went to great lengths to accommodate us despite many changes due to Covid lockdown. Wonderfully equipped unit. Great location. Will be going back in a couple of months.

Staff were really nice and helpful. The pool and spa area were a hit with my kids and the pool was heated which was a good thing. Undercover parking was a plus with the wild weather we had during our stay All in all a positive experience

Great location, views and size of the apartment was perfect. One downside was that the windows didn’t have screens which was quite unsafe for the kids.

This property and location is great with an awesome view. But, needs to be cleaned properly and disinfected, especially after each rental ref (COVID Safety). Corners, surfaces dusty, carpet, floors dusty old stained, dirty, couch well worn, smelly, had food crumbs and other stuff in cracks underneath etc. There was no airconditioning, luckily there were 2 extra fans to use in rooms. Curtains need replacing, doors and screens were dirty and have not been cleaned for quite sometime. There is no disinfectant to clean floors and surfaces. A proper mop and bucket, and disinfectant on hand would be a good suggestion. The vacuum does not work at all and needs replacing.

Hi Patti, We are disappointed with some of your comments. Our housekeepers do a wonderful job to maintain the cleanliness of our apartments, but sometimes small things do get missed. We do not advertise airconditioning as there is none in the complex. Since bringing it to our attention, the vacuum cleaner has been repaired.

Very spacious 3 bedroom appartments, very comfortable for our stay of 3 adults and 2 children. Location was absolutely perfect just one street back from the beach. So didn’t have the full brunt of the winds at us. Kids loved the pool/spa and tennis courts.

Very happy with our accommodation
Very spacious living areas with comfortable sleeping conditions too. Apartment had all items needed for a family to enjoy including board games. Friendly staff who were very helpful.

Great break away
The location was great, close to the beach and restaurants. The apartment was older but had all the comforts of home. Pool area was really nice. Has a 1/2 size tennis court.

What a view :)
We enjoyed the pool, spa and tennis court. The short walk to the beach was a plus. It also only took about six minutes to a small shopping centre with a Coles. And a Wollies just a little bit up the road.

Older hotel but nice location
It was lovely and clean staff were so nice and helpful on check in. Definately needs air conditioning was very hot and the windows dont have screens so with a little one didnt feel comfortable leaving the windows wide open in case she fell out of the window we were 6 stories up.

Cozy home away from home
Apartments were well positioned for the beach, walkways, restaurants and the town centre. We treated the apartment like our home for the week and all of the amenities were perfect for our family of five. With the bad weather we spent a lot of time in the apartment and it was comfortable, cozy and great value.

Close to beach. Spacious and well equipped
Family of 5 stayed in unit 3, ground floor. Huge 3 bedroom 2 toilets, inbuilt laundry. Great size kitchen with 6 seater dining table. Even thou on ground floor could still see ocean and great views. Kids enjoyed tennis court whilst we sat watching from balcony. The unit was well kept. Huge windows to allow natural light in. Reception staff very friendley. Underground secure parking. Short walk to kings beach tavern, salt pool, beach. Will deffently be choosing burgess for out next stay in caloundra.

Close to beach and town centre with the best views of the beach which is only a 2 minute walk. Very clean apartment with heaps of space for us and our 4 kids. Great pool and spa and tennis court and friendly and helpful staff. We'll be staying there again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Spacious with a great view
Visiting family in Caloundra we found the Burgess a great place to stay and we only wished we were there in the heat so we could enjoy the pool. My only negatives are that one bed was just a mattress on the floor and that the beds were too soft for some of us. It may be as their past their use by date, or that its just a personal preference thing!! But overall the staff were very friendly and helpful, the place spotless, and it had a great view. We'd definitely stay there again!

Disappointed!!!
As a family of 4 we never find the money or time to get away very often. We were very excited about this get away as we love Caloundra. Unfortunately this changed from the moment we checked. The room we had (no.62) was very outdated, with old furniture that was covered in dust. The light switches and walls were dirty and in general the whole place just needs to be ripped out and redone. NOTHING AT ALL LIKE THE PHOTOS, DON'T BE FOOLED. I think the worst part was when pub ic hair fell out of the towel I was drying my nearly 2 year old with and when I called to tell reception I was offered new towels??? Not good enough. Reception is barely open and the minimal requests we did have were never fully met.

Hi Jody. We are disappointed you didn't enjoy your stay. As the apartments are privately owned, they are all fitted out with various decor. The apartment you were in does have older style furniture, but I can reassure you we work very hard to maintain the cleanliness within each apartment and around the complex. I can also assure you the linen, which we offered to replace without question, was fresh from a very professional linen cleaning company.
