« PERFECT place to stay while in the area. Central to all the tourist sites. Bonus for me, I grew up in a small house across the lake from this cabin! It felt like I went back in time 50 years! I would highly recommend a stay here! Very clean, comfortable beds and stocked thoughtfully. I hope my sister and I can come stay again someday. »

« We loved our fall getaway at this adorable cabin. The fall colors were gorgeous and the weather couldn't have been better! Sunny and cool temperatures so we could explore the area comfortably as a family with our 2 dogs. « My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back! »
