« Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space. »

« The communication was prompt. Our biggest issue was finding the property late in the night as Google Maps takes you to the opposite house! You definitely need to add a note to the property listing. The house is as shown in photos, newly refurbished, clean and nice. The kitchen and bathroom at the back of the office needs to be brought up to the standard of the rest of the house. These rooms lack both furnishings and facilities and feel like a different house altogether! We didn't cook so can't...

« The house is a large space that could suit big groups, but we encountered several significant issues.The main one was that the property hadn’t been prepared for our arrival. Although we were initially delayed by an incorrect key-box code, this became minor once inside: 2 bedrooms were unassembled, furniture was stacked from floor to ceiling in one room, and the kitchen was missing basic essentials for our group of 8 (no bowls, 2 cups).Our biggest concern was safety.
