« We enjoyed our stay but ran into a few bothersome things. We arrived over an hour after check in time & our room wasn’t ready. There was no apology, just a “give it another 10 minutes”. And when we inquired about the meeting place for a kayak tour we scheduled, front desk staff was rude. They explained the kayak tour was not connected to them even though the meeting place was at their property. They could’ve politely just pointed us in the right direction. « Property was clean, beautiful view of the lake and very peaceful. Bathrobes were a nice touch, bed was comfortable & there were plenty of pillows and towels. Loved the deck and grill, while eating late dinner in the deck we saw a bald eagle fly in to roost. Saw bald eagles other days flying around as well. Private beach has the most beautiful view of the sunrise. Although we didn't use it the fire pit was very nice & seating was provided. Shower is tiny and it's a small hotel size fridge but it...

« We loved our stay! Well stocked, quiet, comfortable, and close to all we wanted to do for our long weekend. You will not be disappointed if you decide to visit!We arrived to some beeping in the cottage and discovered the CO2 detector was at the end of its life. I reached out to the host, Chris, and he went above and beyond to get us a replacement unit as quick as he could. Very pleased and impressed by his responsiveness. « Super cute and cozy cabin. Great base camp for waterfall explorations. Kristin was great to work with and even made sure the woodstove was blazing for our arrival. I also loved all the handmade pottery decorating the space. It was too chilly to be outside much but we did see the turtles and had a greeting from a barred owl one evening. »
