This centrally-located beachfront bungalow offers amazing Gulf views and all the necessities to make vacation memories. Happy Days is in the popular Gulf Beaches neighborhood and is close to island shops, restaurants, nightlife, the St. George Lighthouse Museum, and the multi-use path. New additions include a private screened porch off the primary bedroom and TVs in all bedrooms!

Whether relaxing on the covered deck with a good read or splashing in the surf and catching the sun in the beautiful waters of St. George Island, the best of the Forgotten Coast is within easy reach at this vacation home. After a long beach day, enjoy a super refreshing rinse in the enclosed outdoor shower. Sizzle your fresh Florida catch on the private charcoal grill, and share these delights around the picnic table. There's also cornhole provided for rainy-day entertainment.

Vaulted ceilings in the second floor’s common space provide a light and airy place to enjoy the expansive and beautiful beach views. A sun deck is just steps from the living room and you will find a convenient half-bath on this level. A smart TV is provided for entertainment. There is plenty of seating for your crew at mealtime between the dining table and breakfast bar. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare coastal feasts (even a Keurig), and beautiful coastal views provide the perfect backdrop for beach memories that will last a lifetime. The third floor features an open loft that can provide additional sleeping space.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

June 4 - 8, 2025. I have to say that our host at this house is hands down one of the best we have ever had. House was clean, great view, games to play, a well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and the beds & pillows were comfortable. We had a Fireworks show from the nearby Wedding venue Friday & Saturday night. Pool & hot tub were fun. The 1st morning we were there we had an issue with the water. Donna (the host) took care of it immediately. (Out of the ordinary, weird issue.) There was also a tornado warning during our stay and she made sure we were aware. She truly cares about your experience at her place and is very personably. I highly recommend this property. My siblings & I along with our families have been doing something together every summer for 28 years now. So we have some experience with renting places that can accommodate 15-25 people. This is by far one of our best experiences.

Great location - house needs some work

The location cannot be beat. On the beach! Walkable to everything St. George has to offer. We loved the location of the home. The house itself feels like it needs a facelift - new showers, appliances, one of the beds. The property manager was very easy to work with. I feel the price fairly reflects what you get with this property. We would not rent again.

Even during spring break season the beach still had that private beach feeling!! We love SGI overall but I would not recommend for teenagers who need more to do than renting golf carts. We try to keep SGI a secret from our coworkers, lol. Will be a yearly trip

Great location but needs maintenance

This house is in a great location and we really enjoyed the short walk to beach and minimal crowd with room to set up. It was also close to the restaurants and shopping. The house itself is just ok. It was not cleaned very well with sand still on floors. The downstairs bathroom shower doesn’t drain so you stand in dirty water and takes over 15 mins to drain so next person has to wait as well. Neither tv worked downstairs. However the main turn off for our family is that we cook at the house every night and Almost every dish we pulled from the kitchen was dirty, some even still had food on. We also had a pipe burst (late at night) and it was not a great experience getting someone to the house to fix. We ended up fixing ourselves and they finally showed and said would come back next day with parts and never came the final two days we were there. While it did the job as far as staying in the beach, we won’t be visiting again. Some routine maintenance and updates would go a long way for your visitors.

Perfect location

This was the perfect place for us! We loved being able to walk to stores and the park. The beachfront view and access was fantastic. We will definitely book this property again!

Just OK

Management did not maintain outside or inside. Trash (ice bags and beer can) outside property. Master bath had mold that can not be treated with bleach. Would need to be re-caulked. Shower curtain was nasty. Master bath was tiny and both full baths were dated. While inside was decorated nicely, the home smelled musty. This property is for sale. The owner should have management address these issues as well as the gable at the back of the home. The driveway was full of weeds and home did not look inviting. We won't be back.

Summer break from life

We went down to St. George’s Island for a quick, early summer getaway. Happy Days was in a central location on the island and close to all the shops and restaurants, so it was convenient and quick to walk everywhere we needed to go. The location, directly on the beach, was fantastic and we sat and watched the people and dolphins hanging out and playing around in the surf, when we were out on our balcony. We loved everything about this house and it’s location. The beach area in front of the house was never really crowded and always seemed quite and pleasant. We hung out on the beach every day, and enjoyed the peace and quiet daily. The communication with VRBO and Vacasa was very good and they were quick to respond to us, when we had a question, very good hospitality. We will be back for another stay in a few months, such great memories.
