Châteaux à St. Charles

« It was a very quaint small town Inn. It reminded me of a Bed and Breakfast. Very comfortable room and nice Restraunts walking distance from the hotel. »

« Booked this as a last minute mini spring break vacation and absolutely loved it. Will visit again. Cabin was adorable, clean and very well kept. Hammock chairs under cabin were the highlight of the trip. Found some games in the coffee table and it was nice to teach my son games that did not involve electronics. Bathhouse was very close by and exceptionally clean and well stocked. Shower was amazing. Puppy had a great time walking the trail with us. Easy drive to Whitewater State Park. »

« It's a very interesting place, making a unique niche for itself. »

« This was a very nice place to stay. It felt cozy, warm.... walking distance to a Perkins. Loved it. »

« The first room we were given did not have a working AC unit nor a working landline phone to call the desk. (Walking down to talk to the gal at the desk was easy, I just found it humorous that I couldn’t call her from the room. The second room we were given was awesome! And breakfast was great (pancake machine, omelets, biscuits and gravy, etc) I would stay here again if we are in the area. »

« Great place to stay definitely come back. »

« Nice location, staff very helpful and friendly, and nice big room »

« The property was very reasonable in price. It was also very clean and staff very helpful. »

« Clean and very comfortable »

« Everything »

« Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the bathroom sink/counter was "out in the open" rather than in the bathroom with the toilet and shower, which made it difficult to use privately or quietly. »

« Great location. Close to the park, bars, restaurants, and a gas station. World class trout fishing within minutes. Covered deck is a game changer on a rainy afternoon. We will be back every year! »

« Clean and stocked...the rooms were clean and the coffee area was stocked well. The rooms are really small. Not great if you need to spend a lot of time there, but they use the space well. No dressers but they have a wire drawer thing for your clothes. No safe in the rooms, which we are used to. Nice pull out shelf on night stand. Perfect for those that have a CPAP machine. The bathroom was pretty outdated-tub looked tired and lots of limescale on shower head. Zero counter space for doing...

« Smoking smell in the room. First thing I see as I walk in is a roach on the floor. The bath tub also had a roach, once I washed that down the drain ants started to crawl out of the drain. Several more roaches were found during my stay. »

« I have always had good experiences staying here in the past, but this visit was highly disappointing. I was given the wrong room type, and although the space appeared clean, wiping up a small kitchen spill left my rag completely covered in dirt. To make matters worse, the parking garage was full, forcing visitors to park four and a half blocks away and wait for a shuttle in a very uncomfortable environment with people yelling profanities in the street. I ended up parking on a side street and...
