Charmant hôtel dans lieu magique
À l’occasion des fêtes de fin d’année, le centre-ville historique est entièrement illuminé et le spectacle est très réussi. L’hôtel est à proximité immédiate (traversée du pont). Il est très bien tenu, le personnel est adorable et les petits-déjeuners servis à table sont de qualité. Bravo et merci

découverte de St Augustine
Il y a plein de choses à voir et à faire à St Augustine. Nous avons eu la chance d'y être pendant les Nights of lights.Nous n'y sommes restés que 2 nuits mais il y a de quoi découvrir pendant plus de temps. L'hôtel est parfaitement situé pour tout visiter à pieds. Le personnel est très accueillant

Presque parfait... Dommage Tout est trés bien, accueuil, propreté, seul gros problème le bruit incessant de la climatisation, comparable au bruit d’un avion. C’est dommage, car notre séjour dans cet hôtel aurait été parfait.

Bonne adresse
1 nuit en juillet 2019 (2 chambres réservées). Bon hôtel bien situé, propre. Jolie décoration des chambres très confortables et bien équipées. Bon accueil.Belle vue de la chambre sur le pont qui relie à la ville de St Augustine. Bon petit déjeuner. Un seul bémol: une assez forte odeur d'humidité et de "renfermé" dans les chambres.

Très joli hôtel de style résidence en bord de Marina, très propre et bien décoré. Personnel impeccable. Bon emplacement juste de l’autre coté du pont aux lions à 500m de la vieille ville.

Superbe
Super hôtel, personnel très agréable qui nous fait visiter l'établissement, assez rare, entre 5 et 6 pm amuse-bouches et une boisson gratuite durant le séjour. Moderne et superbe vue sur la Marina. A 8 minutes du centre ville, et plusieurs resto à moins de 10 minutes à pied.

The rooms have been renovated and are lovely with the river view. However, they continue to use wall air conditioning units which are extremely loud. We had too turn it off at night to enable us to sleep (even with ear plugs)! Fortunately it was cool enough at night to open the sliding door for the night. The last day of our 4 night stay, we approached the maid for the 2 bottles of water they leave every day after cleaning your room. She requested our room number and when we returned to the room at the end of the day we found the room had not been cleaned. We went to the front desk and nothing was offered to correct this situation. Upon check out we requested an accommodation for this and Gina said she would have to get permission from the owner - who happens to be out of town for a week. A week later we followed up with Gina and she says she has not been able to discuss with the owner. This last night we paid an extra $100 for the room over the previous 3 nights because it was a Friday night. We don't feel we are out of line requesting a clean room with fresh towels for our stay. Very disappointing way to end what should have been a lovely stay.

Loved view of intercoastal and bridge leading over to Old St Augustine from our balcony. Breakfast was much better than other breakfasts that most chains offer. Staff was so nice and helpful. A unique experience.

View was spectacular. All staff members were extremely helpful and pleasant. Convenient to downtown. Comfortable room. Stairs to breakfast quite slippery after rain. Found that out the hard way. Overall our stay was outstanding and will definitely return.

As a first-time solo traveler, it was important to find a hotel that provided great hospitality and, most importantly, made me feel safe. Marker 8 and hotel provided this to me. The hotel is located walking distance to beautiful landscapes in the area.

We loved everything about this hotel! The staff. The view. The proximity to downtown. The restaurants within walking distance. Need I say more? Yes, yes I do! The breakfast and the social hour appetizers prepared by Chef Angie and her staff have forever ruined hotel breakfast for us! Every day we had three made to order options at breakfast and there were three different appetizers at the social hour. Everything was absolutely delicious! It's not often we stay till check out time on our last day of vacation... but we did! We were enjoying every minute of that glorious view from our balcony. We will be back!

The place was great. Clean, remodeled, friendly staff, but most of great views of the bay. It’s a short walk across the bridge to all of the shops and eating. Overall it exceeded expectations and would stay there again. The only downside is that the surrounding area was not great.

Marker 8 has a beautiful view of the marina. Check in staff was very friendly. Free breakfast was delicious. Parking just steps from room. The big negative, dirty floors! I left my shoes on until changing for bed. A brief 30 minutes in bare feet, dirty. When I brought up to 2 different front desk staff, they were aware. Was told that person assigned to clean floors, not working that day. “We are getting done as rooms empty “.

The hotel is a very convenient location just over the Lions Bridge from the Historic District. Breakfast was a treat with both free and paid options depending on your appetite. Our room was clean and quiet.

This hotel was the perfect place for my husband & I on the last 3 days of our Florida vacation. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable and modern. We had a beautiful view of the Bridge of Lions from our balcony and even saw some friendly dolphins swim near the shore. The spa pool was wonderful, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Finally, it is very rare to find a hotel that includes a delicious homecooked breakfast and nightly appetizers with your room rate, but Marker 8 offers both. The staff is friendly & welcoming. We loved our stay and will definitely return in the future. Thank you for making our trip!

Nice location. Easy parking. Great view. Big room. Friendly staff. Breakfast was tasty. Only issue was they only allowed two of us to get breakfast which was odd. They said that is how it was booked even though Expedia knew I had a total of 4 traveler.

The front desk help was welcoming and the breakfast servers were nice. But entering the room, there was a bad smell, prob mold. I turned down the temp on the thermostat to no avail. If the ac doesn’t work, that explains the mold smell. The bathroom turned us off due to what appeared to be dirty grout and there were brownish smears on the baseboard. Also black streaks on the bathroom door and frame.

The view from the room deck is beautiful and peaceful. The staff great and the walk ability to St. Augustine perfect. I would have put Quiet, but it was motorcycle week and some were very loud. But I am sure when they left, things went back to quietness. Fun to watch the bridge.

Great location with easy walk across bridge to town. Friendly staff. Simple and small but very nice. AC unit is loud when sitting on porch but small sacrifice for all the other benefits.

The bathroom needed some serious cleaning. Mold in the shower and around the shower door. We had stayed here several years ago and loved it but it has definitely dropped in appearance and cleanliness.

Location and easy parking were great,also quiet an safe. Unfortunately the air conditioning was working properly,we woke up in the middle of the night sweating,too hot inside the room . Also the shower was in poor condition.

The view from our room of the docks and the Bridge of Lions was stellar. The breakfast was the best I've had in any hotel or B&B. The room marine-themed decor was charming. Great front desk hospitality. We couldn't have asked for more.
