Large updated house. lots of onsite parking which is rare for this area and it is gated which is a plus. easily walkable to downtown St. Augustine. Property manager was prompt and good to work with. A bit $$$. But perfect for a very large family and with the parking & close to downtown - it was worth it. Highly recommend house.

I reached out to the property owners before booking and specifically chose a non-pet-friendly home due to one of our children having dog allergies. However, upon arrival, we found pet hair throughout the floors, which was concerning. Additionally, the beds appeared to have either not been cleaned properly or not cleaned at all—there was glitter and hair on the bunk beds, and all the other beds had visible hair on them. I had to spend the afternoon washing the bedding before we could sleep comfortably.We attempted to contact the property management about these issues but received no response. Considering the price per night, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness. The home is in desperate need of a deep clean, and unfortunately, the beds were also quite uncomfortable.It’s a shame because the location is fantastic, but the home needs some TLC and, most importantly, an accurate listing. If pets are allowed, this should be clearly stated so that guests with allergies or preferences for a pet-free home can make an informed decision.

Our group of three ladies-sister and cousins had a wonderful time at this house! It was well supplied, very comfortable, and the location enabled us to walk everywhere in the downtown area. We loved the inviting porches with quiet surroundings away from the traffic of downtown, and will keep it in mind for future getaways.

We checked in on Wednesday, 7 adults and two children. The house was large! Plenty of room to move about. Beautiful house. The beds were not so good. The Master in the only King bed and not comfortable. The Master upstairs is a queen bed, and really needs some kind of support. Sit on the edge and you can roll off of it. The other queen room same. The kids didn’t say about the bunk beds. There are 4 bathrooms. One in the master has a tub, the upstairs master and a shareable bathroom upstairs, no tubs, but beautiful large showers. One partial bath downstairs, off the laundry room, sink and toilet only. So many bathrooms was a good thing for 9 of us. There was an issue with ants in the master shower area. Made a call, and she came right away with someone to fix the issue. If you plan on a beach day, be sure to have beach towels. We went and bought 9 towels. There are white bath towels for the house, no beach towels. There are a few board games, but we brought our own. There is a drip coffee pot, but we brought our own Keurig and K Cups. TV’s in all rooms with cable, and there is wifi service. We made breakfast 2 mornings only. There are some pots and pans, dishes and other kitchen ware. We brought our own Paper plates, red cups, plastic cutlery, for whatever quick prep items we had. Easy clean up with 9 people. We ate at Pizzalley’s Chianti Room twice. The food is excellent. We also ate at Harry’s - excellent, and Nonna’s Trattoria, also good! All in all a good stay.

Excellent house which is huge and ideal for a large family. Open living area downstairs makes it ideal for holiday home. The area itself is a short walk into the centre so there are plenty of choices for restaurants and things to do.

Gated parking in safe neighborhood. Close walk to the Lightner museum. Plenty of bathrooms for girls. Nice big open concept kitchen/dining/living room. I wish I had known about the additional townhouses right behind that share the driveway and I would have rented them also( if they are rentals).

This is our 5th time coming to St Augustine by boat and staying within walking distance of the marina. This house was perfect for our two families. Everything was brand new and there were two masters, one upstairs and one down. There were also three different porches for hanging out when the weather is nice. This house was exactly as pictured and about a 10 minute walk to the heart of St Augustine. We'll definitely be back. Thanks!

We were a group of five women and everyone enjoyed their stay. The home was clean, well equipped, and very safe. The location was ideal for walking to Old Town, restaurants, and shops but on a quiet street. Loved our time sitting on the front porch with coffee each morning!

The house was spotless and exactly as described in the listing. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful with quick responses to all of our various questions about the area. The location was perfect with all that the historic district has to offer within short walking distance yet nestled in a nice quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay in St. Augustine. The property was exactly as described; was spotless when we arrived; and the check in and check out process was super easy. We loved the house and its location. You are close enough to the main part of old town to easily go out for dinner each night, but far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise. The one downside is that one of the neighbors owns a rooster - and he loves to start crowing very early each morning (between 4:30 and 5:00). There is nothing that the owners of Stonewall House can do about it - but potential renters should know that the local rooster will announce himself very early each morning. :-) It became a running joke for our family while we were there! All in all, we had a wonderful time in St. Augustine!
