Located in The Scores conservation area, the property is a perfect base to explore what St Andrews has to offer.

Turn right out of the front door you will immediately see the Sea. As you walk the 20m to the entrance to the wynd, the full splendour of The West Sands and six town based courses of the St Andrews Links unfold in front of you. From here you are 100m from the Old Course 1st tee and the beach. You are less than a minute’s walk from two of St Andrews’ pre-eminent restaurants, The Seafood Ristorante and the Haar. Across the Scores you can access the R&A World Golf Museum and St Andrew’s Aquarium - ideal for those rainy days! For those with more energetic intentions, you can hop on the Fife coastal path and explore the spectacular coastline.

Turn the other way out of the front door and within 5 minutes walk you can be in the centre of the City with its selection of historical sites including the castle, cathedral and the famous university. You will find abundant coffee shops (Taste is the closest and the best in our opinion), restaurants, boutiques, high street stores together with supermarkets to stock up on those all important supplies.

The city bus station is also just a short walk and offers excellent services to the surrounding towns and villages.

If you want to venture further afield, Edinburgh can be accessed by car and train in a little over an hour. Dundee V&A is within 25minutes by car. The East Neuk of Fife, with its numerous golf courses and fishing villages is also easily accessible by bus or car.


The apartment benefits from its own private entrances (Front & rear) and has the living space located on the first floor. It runs along the Wynd.

The sitting room is spacious, comfortable, bright and airy with ample seating, a smartTV and an adjoining yet separate dining area. The kitchen is well equipped (dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, two refrigerators) and has a small seating area for four that is ideal for breakfast. The two large bedrooms each have UK King size beds and their own bathrooms, the master bedroom being en-suite. Each of the bedrooms has ample drawer and wardrobe space.

A travel cot and fitted sheet can be made available on request. A specific ÂŁ25 charge will be made for this. Please note that no other equipment is provided for small children (no stair gates or high chairs etc.)

There is a laundry room equipped with a washer and a tumble dryer. This also houses an additional WC.

For the warmer months there is a small private outside space equipped with table, chairs and a BBQ. The yard also serves as a suitable bike parking area although you will need to carry your bikes down a few steps. In the entrance hall there is ample cupboard space to store golf equipment.

The property benefits from free Wifi and satellite TV.

All in all there are few better locations, if any, to enjoy and make the most of every minute of your precious down-time in St. Andrews..

We had an amazing experience at this VRBO! The location is absolutely ideal, just a short walk to golf, shopping, and great restaurants. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet at night, which made it perfect for relaxing after a day out.The home itself was spotless and incredibly comfortable. The beds and bedding were some of the most comfortable we’ve ever experienced in a rental and we slept so well every night! The kitchen had everything we needed, and the living room was perfect for lounging and spending time together. We also loved the bonus patio, a great spot to enjoy our morning coffee or unwind in the evening.A huge thank you to our hosts, Andrew and Maria, who were super helpful and responsive throughout booking and our stay. Their attention to detail and hospitality made everything easy and enjoyable.We can’t say enough good things about this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and peaceful stay. We would absolutely return!

We had a lovely two week stay in this quaint apartment. It is perfectly located close to The Old Course and so comfortable. We had everything we needed. The bed in the primary bedroom is great and the primary bath is just beautiful. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful time, the place was in the perfect location, convenient to everything (Old Course, ocean, and so many restaurants and pubs), not to mention very clean. We have already started recommending it to friends. Small tip just be sure to tell your taxi, private car, etc. to meet you at the monument on The Scores and they will always find you!

We loved our 3-night stay at this lovely apartment. The location cannot be beat and free parking was easy to find each day. Our group of two golfers loved the two bedroom apartment with a nice modern kitchen and comfortable living room. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. We loved the washer and dryer. I'd highly recommend this VRBO. The owners reallly know what they're doing. Stay here if you can.

We had two days at a hotel then moved into town for a better vibe. The pubs in St Andrew’s are awesome, great food, friendly staff. The Dunes is in walking distance from all of the attractions of St Andrew’s. It is quiet, warm, the appliances are excellent and the convenience is unbeatable. Although there is no parking we were there at peak time and found parking easily. Would highly recommend this property.

Hosts were wonderful to communicate with. Flat was clean and tidy. Easy walk to restaurants, and St. Andrews Links and the beach. They also had nice hair dryers in each bedroom. Location made it easy to navigate the town without a rental car, and it was a wonderful, spacious place to come back to at the end of each day. We hope to be back in the next few years.

Amazing location, 150 yards from Old Course 1st tee. Walkable to everything St Andrews has to offer. The property is thoughtfully equipped, comfortable and a pleasant place to hang out in. The only occasional frustration is the car parking situation, which is an issue for the town and not specific to the property. There are great parking spots very close, but you may need some luck to snag one. In summary, we would definitely recommend and would return.

This was an amazing property. Superbly located, mere steps down a Wynd and you are looking at the eighteenth green of the Old Course! Restaurants, pubs, grocery store, pharmacy & shops all located within easy walking distance. The flat is clean, beautifully furnished and well provisioned. The owners are delightful, easy to work with and always responded immediately to our questions. Highly recommend this fantastic property.
