« The building is an older one so keep that in mind. Stairs creaked etc. The rooms were quite clean IMO. Bathroom was very clean and recently recaulked which is a good sign to me. TV was great which is important to me. Staff was very nice and helpful. The only reason I would suggest not staying at this location is due to the slamming room doors and the trucks on Route 63. Both were quite loud. I was on vacation and wanted to sleep in but every morning around 6am I heard the doors slamming...

« Glad I stayed here through a tornado warning. Nice old hotel with lots of original features. The lack of a front desk person and the inability to use the elevator (though I did not try since prior reviews said it had to be operated by one of them) dinged this hotel. I had no trouble parking, but I arrived late and left early. »

« I booked this trip through Expedia and paid for it beforehand. The hotel ended up triple charging me the deposit (which I ended up getting back.) But they also charged me for the stay as well. Ive emailed and submitted screenshots of the double payments, bank statements, etc, and still have not gotten my refund. This was in April, and its now end of June. Will never stay here again. Be weary booking this place through Expedia. First time Ive ever had this issue, so Im thankful. But still...
