« When we booked we were just looking for a little room for the night- but the property was a gem in the center of Mount Vernon. The staff was so helpful when we arrived and the breakfast was perfection (we didn’t know it came with breakfast! What a treat). We feel so lucky to have found the Mount Vernon Inn for our brief visit to Kenyon College. »

« This was our third time staying at Avenwood. We enjoyed the first 2 stays but the third was not good. There was a power outage that went on all night. Due to the power outage there was a beeping noise that was not the smoke detector that just kept beeping and we couldn’t stop it. It disrupted our sleep and our all around relaxation.
