« We stayed in about 10 hotels in Scotland, but this was the first and the best one by far: the warm welcome, the quality of the service (bringing a heater when we were cold, immediately responding to expressed needs), family atmosphere and quality breakfast in a family atmosphere. Thank you! »

« On entering the hotel you will be met by warm and inviting staff. off to the left of the reception is an insanely stocked whisky lounge but prices are on the steep side for you average dram. « Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. »

« I went down for breakfast at 7.30....a bit later than I usually would, but everything was closed. I tried calling the number on the front desk but didn't get an answer. The room is decent but the bed was very hard. »
