« Physically a nice hotel. However simple features like a hot water faucet was not totally functional, in room air unit with a hose connection to the window that wasn’t fastened with a large enough opening for a bird to enter. No room darkening shades. Small items. One star is for being totally unaccommodating when we asked to leave the car in the lot till 3:00. The person I spoke with about this gave me an automated response. They could have been flexible, but no? »

« We had such a wonderful stay at this Troy Hill home while visiting our son at Duquesne University. The location couldn’t have been better-close to campus and so many great Pittsburgh spots like the Duquesne Incline, Heinz History Museum, Blue Slide Park, National Aviary, PNC Park, and the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium.The house itself was perfect for our family-we truly made it our home for five days. « The host was so accommodating and super helpful. We would absolutely stay here again. Everything is so close to the house and there is quiet a bit to do. The house was super clean and had everything you could need. Amazing little getaway for our family. »

« The stay was perfect for a guys trip. The house was large and a good set up for the 4 of us. It was probably the nicest house in the area. The area was very quiet and an older neighborhood. We did have an issue with hot water and the host immediately took care of it. She communicated well and honestly i have no complaints. I would stay there again. »

« Good location and street parking was easy. This apartment needs a deep cleaning. The first bathroom needs a new floor register cover and the floor needs a good cleaning. We were not able to check in at 3:00 because the apartment had not been cleaned. The owner offered a meal, up to 50, at a local restaurant for the inconvenience, but we have not been reimbursed as he promised. The outdoor seating area does not look like the picture. »

« This was perfect stay for our family in town for a funeral. The owners were extremely responsive and miraculously secured an a/c repairman immediately when we noticed it not working. The home and grounds were a welcome beautiful hidden gem as respite for our grief. »
