We arrived at the hotel earlier than the standard check-in time on the 4th of July and initially just hoped to park our car so we could explore the area on foot. To our pleasant surprise, the staff checked us in early at no extra cost! Our room was conveniently located on the back side of the property, allowing us to park directly in front of it ā super helpful for unloading and quick access.
The room itself wasn't large, but it was warm, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. We had everything we needed, and the large TV positioned perfectly for watching from bed was a nice bonus.
The hotel has a pool and spa, which made for a perfect way to relax in the afternoon, especially for our kid who had a great time swimming. We also appreciated how pet-friendly the property is ā we were able to walk our dog comfortably around the hotel grounds and the surrounding neighborhood, which is both beautiful and very walkable.
To top it off, we found out there would be a fireworks show at Lake Tahoeās beach that night. Around 9:30 p.m., we left our room and enjoyed a short, 5-minute walk to the beach to join in the celebration. It was a perfect way to end a fun and relaxing day!
