« Restored victorian mansion is very quaint. Technically there isn't any hotel front desk but the restaurant staffers pitch in. Very nice on site Italian restaurant, along with valet parking. Great neighborhood for cafes and bars and ball games. »

« Pros: cRoom was clean and nice size. Kitchen had everything we have it at home except for food. Bed was very comfortable. Staff and valet were very helpful. We arrived to town early and were checked in at 1pm which was nice, because we wanted to walk to the NFL draft. Cons: one side of the hotel is next to train tracks, Friday night we counted four trains and could hear the trains loud and clear. We counted 4 trains pass by our room between 11 PM and 3:30 AM, so we didn’t sleep most of the...

« The hotel has an access point from the parking lot, which was typically unlocked. When we arrived, using this access, a person entered the elevator smoking and nothing was done about it. The elevator smelled like a frat house during a party after that. The first room we had had a wonky desk, with a visible broken leg. No stand for luggage was provided and the pillows smelled. They ask you to request housekeeping before 11 AM but they didn't provide the service when we did. The second room lacked...

« Great place to stay at, loved the ambiance, the view of the city was amazing. It is spacious, and the top floor is great for adults and kids to just hang out in. Would definitely book again when we come back out here. »

« There was no working tv and no one on the premises to help. There was construction out side the building and they started running a jackhammer at 5 am. Drunk football fans keep us up till 3 am partying. »

« If you are looking for accommodations to attend a sporting or cultural event in Pittsburgh, this conveniently located apartment is for you! While the furniture may not be from Ethan Allen, it was functional and the bed was comfortable (although one of the front shades needs to be repaired (it doesn’t release and can’t be pulled down and the handle on the shower faucet needs to be tightened). I will look into this rental for future needs! »

« This is the second time I have stayed at the Oaklander. The first time there were stains all over my sheets. They were changed. This time the pillows were wrinkled and did not smell fresh. I had to request new pillow cases. It’s a beautiful hotel but when they tell you they are inspecting your room before you go in beware, you better inspect it yourself. Housekeeping was very courteous when they changed the pillow cases. One bright point. Very disappointing for such a beautiful hotel. »
