« We really enjoyed our short stay at the Carthouse. It's a lovely property in Axbridge, with Cheddar Gorge within easy reach. Communication with Val was excellent and also waited on the side of the road to show us the entrance to the side road. The Carthouse was spotlessly clean and Val had left several thoughtful items to get us started including bread, milk, wine and cider! Thank you Val, it was much appreciated. We'd have no hesitation in recommending this lovely property. »

« I booked this property for my Sister’s hen-do and it was just the most perfect property!! The house was extremely well stocked with glasses and crockery. The dining room was amazing, creating such a special experience for a formal dinner. The gardens were beautiful as well! The host, Patricia, was extremely helpful and responsive - I really felt like she wanted to ensure we had the best experience, which we did!! Could not recommend this property more. »

« Das mit viel Liebe eingerichtete Haus war für uns 5köpfige Familie ein gut geeigneter Ausgangspunkt, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Kinder liebten das Trampolin im Vorgarten, wir fanden zum Kochen alles vor, was wir brauchten. Überrascht waren wir, dass zwei der Betten im Gartenhaus separiert vom Haupthaus zu finden waren, aber da hätten wir wohl genauer lesen mpssen. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen! »
