Hôtel sympa à proximité du centre ville, et proche des services Cependant le wifi est décevant, Google Maps avait du mal à charger… De plus les chambres se font vieilles. Mais l’hôtel est globalement très agréable !

Great location, junior suite was large but worn and the furniture in it was a bit odd. There isn't someone always at the front desk and so we generally had to text and wait for someone to come. There were no wine glasses in the room, we were able to get some but just a little detail that would be nice.

Stayed in the carriage house portion, large room, nice bathroom. Easy parking across the street. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, great coffee place across the street for breakfast. Would definitely go back.

The staff were super helpful with a room change for mobility issues. The room was beautiful and had flower boxes. The only flaw was that the tub valve was very sticky. Beautiful old-towny district!

The hotel is very nice and the location is good — near some great restaurants and a couple of cool bars. We had a room next to the sidewalk and it was a bit loud. That is our only complaint. Otherwise, it was terrific! ❤️

Hey, it’s funky, lbh! I love the location, easy access to great food. Grossmans is a standout for me close to 101 & 12 for easy transportation to Sebastopol or Sonoma. Staff are fantastic. For me, less interaction = better ✅. But whenever I need assistance, they are on point.

We loved everything about our stay at La Rose. The staff was very helpful, the hotel is located in a great location downtown with many places to eat in walking distance. The room was well equipped and quiet at night. Would definitely recommend.

I couldnt get to my room vecause they still hadnt cleaned it (after 4pm) and when they toldbme my room was ready, i went up to it and the maid was still in there cleaning it. It wasn't until well after 5pm when my room was ready

It was a lovely Historical building in a nice area. There were a number of restaurants and food choices, also a large interesting antique store, that’s full of all kinds of things, from old metal toys to trinkets to old postcards and photos, to furniture. You could easily spend a few hours wandering in the store. There was also a great restaurant attached to the hotel. Recommended

Room is above an restaurant that has a large outdoor eating courtyard. FYI "opens at 8am" complete with loud music tables of people literally outside your window. Staff is completely "detached" from any concern you might have with the situation; stating " we are not affiliated with Grossman's, if you have a complaint I can give you their managers name". NOT AFFILIATED? THE HOTEL HAD AN OPEN GLASS SET OF DOORS THAT LEADS INTO THEIR DINING ROOM." Pillows in room were small in size filled with hard pieces of foam that separated during a laundry cycle, kind of like sleeping on a bag of med. sized rocks. AGAIN, staff was dispatched from any negative feedback, sharing with me " I have personally slept here and the pillows were fine" well Tempest, maybe you didn't sleep in room 26." There is no insight parking and rather than feed a meter .25 cents for 10 minutes and have to move the car off the block after 3 hours, I parked in a garage and walked approx. 15 minutes which was great and gave me time to take in the abundance of local shops who were staffed with engaging humans. In all fairness the hotel did offer to give me a different room when I complained that as soon as I turned on the bathtub I was "batting away flying drain bugs" and soon the bathtub had dead bugs floating in the water. I am yet to see the charges reversed as promised since I left after engaging in a no win combative conversation with the hotel clerk as I stood soaking wet in their lobby.

First off the three staff members I interected with were all awesome. They were efficient and professional, and still friendly. Five stars! Our stay in the carriage house was adequate- we chose the Carriage house room because of the more modern heat & A/C. The room was clean and spacious, but "kinda" updated from the mid-1990s. Tired looking pink bathroom and marble, jetted tub was kinda gross, and the bright brass accents were dated and stained. Its also across the street from the actual historic hotel, with a gated courtyard but exterior corridors like a motel. Id probably stay here again, but not in the carriage house section. The historic hotel lobby looks MUCH more updated and nicer.

Loved our rooom in the Carriage House, except tha the Wi-Fi there never worked. The front desk said they often have trouble with it in those rooms. It was inconvenient to have to come to the lobby for Wi-Fi access. Otherwise the room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. We would have appreciated a small refrigerator for our traveling snacks.
