« The cabin and property were exactly what we had hoped. We wanted to get away from the city and relax and this was just the place. It's situated on a large property with no ne else in sight. The view over the valley below and of the Spanish Peaks is amazing. Even though this is a bit remote, the cabin does offer wifi and has a streaming television. The cabin is cozy and it has a great kitchen for those that enjoy cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we'll be returning again. »

« We loved our stay at the cabin. The cabin is rustic and true to the description, but still has the amenities you want or need to feel more comfortable (electricity, water, fridge, A/C). The views are beautiful and we loved cooking our meals out on the patio admiring the Spanish Peaks. Craig and Judy were so kind and quick to respond anytime we reached out. »

« I have stayed in log cabins before, real log cabins not prefab stuff so I know what a pain they can be maintenance wise. the logs twist and turn, its just what happens. we had more than a few drafts, but the heaters kept us warm. everyone slept well in the beds. the pond behind this place is an awesome sight in morning. it had a bunch of Canadian geese and ducks on it every morning. I took my kids and my grand kids skiing at Sipapu, they had a blast. drove up to Eagle nest in a pretty good snow...

« We are familiar with the area as we have been coming to Eagle Nest and Idlewild since I was a child. We were excited to find such a great place in Eagle Nest. A perfect spot to see the July 4th parade line up and got to watch the fireworks from the front lawn. Hope to rent the place again. »
