The property is beautiful, very glad we came outside San Jose for our first stay. It is a little expensive (dinning) but I think a lot of places in Costa Rica are.

Absolutely stunning property, in the hills overlooking San Jose. Wonderful staff. Unless you have a car, it’s fairly isolated and restaurant does not have a lot of variety. Coffee tour was too long and detailed for us, but walking on the property is beautiful. If I ever make it to Costa Rica, I’d definitely stay for a night because of it’s proximity to the airport.

Beautiful place, close to the airport and easy access. Decor is beautiful and restaurant has beautiful views. Coffee tour was great. The pool is beautiful but unfortunately it is so cold, wish it was warmer.

Fantastic service, food and coffee
Fantastic place to stay! We got into San Jose airport after an 11.5 hour flight and hired a car, then drove to Finca Rosa Blanca. It took ~30min to drive and was very easy to find. Great for a night time drive in a new country. The room was comfortable and the bed was amazing. The decor and feel of the place was so unique and really transported us to a tropical world. We also did the coffee tour the next morning which was great! The food was also incredible. The huevos con caballa and the dinner the night before exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our short but amazing stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great spot!

Finca Rosa Blanca is gorgeous and serene-a lovely place to enjoy the lush beauty of Costa Rica. The adjoining rooms our family of 4 stayed in were both very comfortable, spacious and inviting. Our rooms were cleaned daily, linens replenished, and the beds were turned down nightly and graced with small chocolates. Jetted bathtubs and wonderful balconies to enjoy the surroundings were a plus! The ENTIRE staff of Rosa Finca Blanca were incredible! Starting with Pablo at the front desk, who has fantastic itinerary planning abilities and wonderful communication skills. The wait staff in the dining area who completed service with a smile and were very patient with the four of us camped in the dining area when a rather large, lengthy thunder and lightening storm passed overhead and we had to spend the last view hours of our trip camped in their workspace. Housekeeping and maintenance staff work incredibly hard to keep the rooms and the beautiful grounds in in spectacular fashion. But I must say that the individual my family remembers with the utmost respect and gratitude was Ulises who was our driver and tour guide extraordinaire. We had the pleasure of spending 3 days with Ulises who is a fantastic ambassador for the hotel and Costa Rica. He was kind, pleasant, knowledgeable and was willing to share his expertise and time with us. He is what made our family trip to Costa Rica so memorable. Thank you Finca Rosa Blanca for giving my family the trip and memories for a lifetime!

The hotel itself is really beautiful. The rooms are very private and they give you a great view of the city and its surroundings. The hotel staff are very friendly and open to answer any questions with the area. I would give it a 5/5 if it wasn’t for the restaurant and their food policy. The restaurant is ok, not bad but also nothing crazy. The service in the restaurant is very bland. The staff will greet you, seat you, take your order, and then disappear until is time to pay the bill. Also the food policy, due to the excessive population of bugs in the area, they don’t let you have food or even order take out to the room. They have room service but is more for house keeping. The restaurant food is very expensive for what it is. We ended up renting an uber to the town which is like a 3 min drive from the hotel, eat at the restaurant, and then uber back and it was still around less than half of what we paid at their restaurant during lunch for just 2. To mentioned that during dinner time the food is almost twice expensive. Out of that, we really enjoyed our stay, just which we were able to eat lunch at our room with the great view they offer.

We appreciate your comments, and your sincerity is very important for us. We already passed the word to the person in charge of the restaurant as well as to our GM.Regarding our “no food in the rooms” policy:We are a sustainable hotel, and as such we don’t use any pesticides or similar. Because that reason, food is only served at the restaurant area. Otherwise, the leftovers/crumbs might be a “party” for ants and insects in general in this mountainous area. Un hotel con la tarifa que cobra este, debería ser generoso con sus huéspedes. En el desayuno nos dieron medio vasito de jugo de naranja, insuficiente para un sorbo completo. El café intocable y el Capuccino con coste adicional. La cena realmente espantosa. La habitación bastante descuidada y sin TV. Esperábamos pasarla bien y no fue así.

The mountains of Costa Rica are beautiful. I loved the spanish style of our room. I loved the bright colors. The pool and hot tub area are breathtaking overlooking the city of San Jose. The staff was top notch, the food was true to the culture...amazing. We took the coffee tour and our guide was a plethora of information. I love the way Costa Rica cares for the environment in every aspect of their daily living. Thank you Costa Rica for beautiful memories. You must plan a stay at Rosa Blanca Coffee Farm and Inn, this is a MUST see.

Wat een prachtige locatie; dichtbij het vliegveld en er is geen betere manier om je vakantie in Costa Rica te beginnen of te eindigen. In de hottub uitkijken over het dal van San Jose en daarna eten in het geweldige restaurant. De koffietour met een zeer kundige gids, is zeer aan te raden. En het uitstekende en vriendelijke personeel maken het helemaal af. Hier komen we zeker terug!

My daughter and I had the great pleasure of visiting this beautiful coffee plantation. The staff, the food, the coffee, and the atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Ed and Pablo helped us with our reservations and we’re so welcoming when we arrived. Even the owner greeted us! The staff made us feel at home. Ulysses lead the tour of the plantation and the bird watching tour. I was so impressed with him! He not only found the most beautiful birds but was able catch a picture for me! The FOOD.., OMG! Farm to table like you never had. The best food we had on our entire trip. We were able to relax.. it was so quiet, at the night wind blew through our room and the morning we woke to the birds singing. I loved this place and hope one day to return.

Wow!! Such a uniquely beautiful property! The room and the patio/balcony were breathtakingly gorgeous. The staff were attentive and extremely helpful. Pablo assisted us in many things including arranging for our covid tests pre-return home. The coffee tour was awesome. Plan extra luggage space for FRB coffee....you will NOT regret it!! The restaurant staff and food was delicious and featured local Costa Rican foods, some of which we had seen in the market but had never had offered in any other restaurant. It was a very zen way to finish our trip of Costa Rica. Cannot recommend enough!!

What a beautiful stay!
What a beautiful stay! the place is stunning, wonderful scenery and excellent restaurant. Was wonderful to simply relax and enjoy this well maintained property. Jacuzzi area was magical and well needed after days of driving and surfing. Staff were super friendly and available for any request. We hosted friends for dinner at the restaurant. Was simply perfect!
