Amazing stay just outside San Gimignano!
Every thing was just perfect. From the warm welcome, to the amazing view from every corner in this place, to the delicious food, and much more. The staff is so kind and helpful. The pool is amazing, with amazing view and lots of places to lay down and chill. Really special calm atmosphere in every corner. We will definitely come back…

I cannot say enough good things about Il Segreto di Pietrafitta. Pedro and Diego are about as friendly and accommodating as anyone can be. The rooms and the grounds were very clean and well appointed. Their attention to detail from the heart on our bedspread when we arrived to the umbrella stands outside our door told us right away we had chosen someplace special. The gourmet dinners were outstanding and the outdoor dining with views of the vineyards, olive groves and San Gimignano across the valley made the our stay that much more enjoyable. There is a gravel road to Il Segreto that is short but steep in places. The road continues past Il Segreto to the top and across the hill and in the evenings or mornings I would go for a walk along the road and look at the beautiful Tuscan countryside below. We used Il Segreto as a jumping off point to visit San Gimignano, Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano and Volterra. My only complaint (and I had to think hard before I came up with one) is that Dante, their big German Shepard was a little shy and would rather lazy behind Pedro's desk than come to me so I could scratch him behind the ears.

What an amazing stay my girlfriend and I had at IL Segreto. How do I start describing how fantastic it truly was? The first thing I can think of was THE FOOD. We stayed for four days, three nights and attended their free breakfast service, and two of their dinner services. The food was beyond amazing and quite creative. The breakfast had plenty of options of sweet and savory. The quiches were all really good and the bruschetta was straight up addicting. We followed it up with some of their homemade pies and cakes.. I’m drooling just thinking of them. The dinner services had four courses and they were all quite different and really good. Thinking about it now, it was probably my favorite meals during our stay in Italy. The prices were unbelievable for what we were given, and the service were all super friendly! The hotel was really close to the main road. There is a small unpaved road, due to government restrictions as I was told, that leads to the hotel. Yet, it’s only a 2 minute drive on that unpaved road, and even our rental, which was really low, had no problem making it. Once you arrive you will see the very charming hotel. The host gave us a very warm welcome. He was fantastic throughout our stay. He helped us get around, and locate vineyards and restaurants during our day trips. We never felt rushed and always welcomed us with a smile. Once we were brought into our room, we were pleasantly surprised how well maintained it was. It was roomy and the views.. wow

we loved the location very closed to san gimignano. the property is beautiful, the scenery, the room, the amenities and the food exceeded our expectation. the staf is very friendly and very helpfull.

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful place. The staff are amazing and so welcoming from the moment you arrive. The rooms are stunning and huge! The pool, bar, restaurant and general ground are just amazing. The view is stunning and the sunset not to be missed! The breakfast was super yummy, the dinner in the evening was delicious! I cannot fault our stay at all, we had a lovely time, we would love to go back and would recommend staying here to anyone! Really special experience.

Simplesmente sensacional. Vista privilegiada de San Gimignano. Excelente estrutura, no padrão da Toscana. Atendimento personalizado, com extremo cuidado e cordialidade. O quarto estava impecavelmente limpo. O jantar, com uma sequência cuidadosamente elaborada, estava perfeito. Igualmente o café da manhã. Tudo perfeito.

Wir waren für 10 Nächte im Il Segreto di Pietrafitta untergebracht und haben diese Zeit sehr genossen. Das ganze Team ist super freundlich und sehr bemüht alle Fragen zu beantworten und Tipps bzgl. Unternehmungen, Wein-Tastings etc. zu geben. Das Frühstück und die Abendessen (wir waren an 3 Abenden dort) waren sehr lecker und haben unseren Vorstellungen mehr als entsprochen. Nachmittags gab es für alle Gäste am Pool-Bereich Melone gereicht. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass die im Internet gezeigten Bilder tatsächlich der Realität entsprechen!!! Wir haben uns sehr erholt und werden sicher wieder dorthin verreisen! Das Il Segreto di Pietrafitta ist absolut zu empfehlen!

This property has the perfect location, surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and cypresses. From the terrace and the swimming pool you can see the beautiful town of San Gimignano on the top of the mountain and be car you can get to the town in less than 10 minutes. Pedro and Diego are the perfect hosts, providing you the best advice on what to visit in the surroundings. The rooms are very comfortable and combine all the modern amenities with the historical character of the building. They accommodation includes an excellent breakfast and you can make reservations for dinner at the hotel. The food and wine is great. We would definitely return to Il Segreto di Pietrafita and we recommend it to anybody who wants to enjoy Tuscany.

Super nettes Personal, kuschelige kleine Unterkunft und toller Blick auf San Gimignano. Leider gab es für den Koch nur Ei, Zucchini und Suppenfleisch in verschiedener Zubereitung und Anordnung. Das war bis auf das Suppenfleisch lecker, aber leider etwas eintönig.

This is a gorgeous property just outside the town of San Gimignano with many nice amenities. They offer chef prepared dinners each night, which made it so nice after a long day of touring, to just walk over to their dining room & not have to get back in the rental car & search for a parking space in town.

What an incredible experience! This is much more than a hotel, it is a luxary home away from home built and managed by beautiful people who are extremely kind and generous. My mother and I stayed for 4 nights and we could have easily extended our vacation at Il Segreto because of the kind hospitality shared amongst all staff, incredible food, fantastic wine, stunning views and top quality facilities. Thank you for creating such a special welcoming escape!

We decided to stay around San Gimignano and stumbled on Agriturismo Il Segreto di Pietrafitta and Perfect describes it well. The view is spectacular, the proximity to the town is perfect, and the proprietors are delightful! My wife has many food constraints and the Chef Paolo, Andre, and the entire kitchen crew bent over backwards to make sure she had food that was safe. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend "The Secret" to any one looking for an out of the way get away.

Beautiful Place near San Gimignano.
Beautiful place below San Gimignano . Pedro was very welcoming and the breakfasts were excellent. We also had dinner there each night and they were really good as well. Highly recommend this place.

This property is in a most beautiful landscape. It is peaceful and relaxing. Diego is a very attentive host and we enjoyed many delicious evening meals. SAN Gimignano is within walking distance and there is a wonderful view of it from this property. It is by far one of the nicest B&B’s we have stayed at and will absolutely return to visit again.

We stayed here 3 nights on July 2018 and had a wonderful and relaxing time. The hosts Pedro and Diego are very friendly and helpful with tips on things to do in the area. Special thanks to Ulysses, their beautiful dog!!! The rooms designed with beautiful furniture and every room is different, very clean. Breakfast was served on the beautiful terrace with view of the Tuscan hills and over San Gimignano. They even prepared me free gluten cakes and bread. Beautiful swimming pool, with plenty of sunbeds and shady places. We'll very happy to return.

Great Hotel
Great Hotel in San Gimignano, the location is really nice with beautiful view on San Gimignano especially at dinner time, very quiet place with a very warm welcome, friendly staff, very good breakfast and diner, reasonable price, clean, air condition, free parking.

Hotel mit sehr gute Lage vor San Gimignano inmitten von Weinreben und Olivenbäumen mit Blick auf San Gimignano - wunderschöne Wanderwege direkt vom Hotel nach San Gimignano Einrichtungen wie Betten, Bad etc. waren exzellent Schöner Swimmingpool Gastgeber und Service waren sehr zuvorkommend und hilfreich Leider gab es keine eigene Terrasse oder Balkon

Tuscany dream.
Upon our arrival we originally booked two nights. After a few hours we added an extra night and stayed in for dinner. The care to detail from the dinner service to breakfast exceeded our expectations being our first B&B. The location was exactly what we needed after leaving busy Rome (serene, beautiful Tuscan living). Pedro couldn’t have been a better host, his recommendations hit it out of the park. My wife and I took the cooking class which we highly recommend doing so. Great location, close to classic medieval town.

Our Favorite Agriturismo!!
Agriturismo Il Segreto di Pietrafitta was so amazing we ended up cancelling our following plans and staying an extra few nights. The entire agriturismo and the rooms were so cozy and immaculate, the decorating is flawless and we felt so at ease the entire stay. The view of San Gimignano from the terrace was like a painting, which was perfect to enjoy a bottle from the local wineries. We stayed for dinner the first night, and loved it so much we ended up coming back for dinner every night. We also took the cooking course, which was the most incredible & sincere experience of our entire trip. We absolutely love Agriturismo Il Segreto di Pietrafitta and will be back again soon!!

Amazing place!
The owners of this inn are so friendly and nice. They have done a remarkable job renovating this old estate. The terraces and pool are beautiful and the views are stunning. We ate the four course meal offered each night and the food was wonderful. Breakfast buffet was amazing as well. We stayed for three nights and I wish it had been much longer.

Tolle Lage in Weinbergnähe
Leider war ich nur 3 Nächte vor Ort habe diese sehr genossen, in gemütlicher Atmosphäre bei gutem Essen und Wein habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
