A great surprise
After a night in another motel in the same area that was 30$ more expensive, we were very surprised to find that this place was way better. The motel is really close to the highway but it wasn’t too noisy. Rooms are cosy, clean. Pool and jacuzzi are perfectly working. Cute vintage diner/restaurant with the nicest tenant ever. There even is a bar if you want to have a few drinks. Definitely recommend it!

Chambre petite pour 4 personnes. Point positif parking et à 10min du centre, de la plage, du zoo…. San Diego est une ville assez chère au niveau de l’hôtellerie par rapport à la qualité.

The inside of the room doesn’t look like the picture at all. The room smelled like it had been drenched in pinesol. The fumes were hard to bear, left the door open and turned on the a/c. Called the desk we just moved the car and checked the room, first she said was it was to late, I told her we just left the lobby, that she could allow us to cancel the room. We just needed an overnight place to sleep. The fumes finally reduced a little but that was not a good thing to go through!

It’s a decent hotel, but rooms needed updating. Ours Didn’t feel very clean, you could tell it wasn’t dusted in quite a while & no additional blankets/towels/or pillows were available. Just basic room. We did have to tighten the latches on the door locks as the screws very very loose/wiggly. That didn’t make us feel very safe at first but we fixed it ourselves. The pool, spa & the grounds were nicely kept up. For being close to the freeway .i think the price was a little high, could’ve stayed closer to other attractions for the same amount. It did the trick for our vacation, the staff was kind and the hotel restaurant was decent.

The staff were very friendly. However the actual room needs some upgrades and a deep clean for sure. Restroom didn’t seem well cleaned. Showered with sandals on. Killed a huge spider on the mirror and just felt icky falling asleep. Glad it was just one night.

Terrible experience. This hotel is not even 1 star. Rusted things in the room and bathroom, dirty linens. Pathetic front desk service, worst restaurant serving stale, unsafe, and tasteless food.

Stay was great, clean, nice employees, quiet, and good price. Love the shampoo and conditioner- lots of hot water! Ate at the bar which was really good. Only negative would be little things- towels are rough, rooms are small ( but have everything you need) Tesla charger didn’t work for us but we didn’t wait for it to be reset-we did see others use it later. Lots of free close parking.

Had never stayed at a best western and understand that I won’t ever again stay in this hotel. The bathroom was running all night, I complained the first night but nothing was done. For two nights you can constantly hear the toilet running. By the second day the mini fridge stopped working causing all our food to spoil overnight. I complained to the manager at the front and all he said was “ thank you for bringing it to our notice” nothing else not even an I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Horrible customer service and hotel. Do not recommend

It was regular, the only problem I had, was that when I arrived to the hotel and tried to check in, they were having problemas with the system, so I had to go back later, I left my phone number so they could call me when I could coma back to do the check in, but they never call me!! I also had a problem with the keys, they got deprogrammed, so I had to go to front desk, to get them reprogrammed.

The hotel is conveniently located near several popular attractions, making it easy to visit these sites. However, the room quality was somewhat disappointing, particularly due to the below-average mattress which resulted in back pain.

It's a mini resort. It's very close to the freeway, which is great if you need to get somewhere, but the area doesn't encourage walking around off property.

Shower head had hardly any water pressure to wash the shampoo out of my hair. This is probably a common complaint. I can understand about saving water and water is expensive but maby this matter could be looked into.
