-This home is the upper half of a duplex occupying floors 2 and 3. Entrance is located on floor 3 and requires stairs to access. Please be mindful of your downstairs neighbors!
-Like many beach homes in the neighborhood, this home does NOT offer AC. With ceiling fans and large patio doors and lots of windows that can be opened, there is a nice cross breeze that will help to keep the house cool
-Basic Beach gear provided (beach chairs, beach towels)
-In accordance with the local Short Term Rental Ordinance, this home is equipped with a device that monitors noise levels (but does not record sound). It is located in the main living area

This home is located in a high-density neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. There is a no tolerance policy for excessive noise, occupancy, illegal substances, parties, or smoking. What an amazing house. Large amount of beach toys in garage along with chairs. We had a beach day and were all set up. Has 1 issue with dryer and host was very accommodating in resolving the issue. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. Thank you

Our stay was great! The home had wonderful amenities! It even had plastic dishes, cups and silverware for our toddler grandson! Beds were very comfortable. There was no crib or pack and play but prior to our arrival the host provided very helpful information about renting one. The home was so nicely decorated. Such a fabulous place to stay! Beautiful views of the water. Super boardwalk and lots of activities like kayaking, windsurfing within walking distance. Great playground within walking distance. Loads of restaurants in walking distance. If we get the chance to visit San Diego again we would definitely check to see if this vrbo is available. Loved it. And the hosts were very responsive!

This house and location was perfect for our family vacay! Had everything we needed. It is a shared duplex type house, and there were people below us, but it didn’t interfere with our time. Loved being right on the boardwalk, with a view of the bay, and a block from the beach! Highly recommend this house for your next vacay!

Our stay over break was great. Property was just as listed. Enjoyed the bay, rented bikes, ate at the Olive Cafe, walked to the beach. It’s the perfect location to see everything. The garage is a tight fit, but we just pulled the mirrors in on our minivan.

This is a great property right on Mission Bay. We had the top half of a two unit building and the views overlooking the bay were amazing! With plenty of restaurants nearby and both the bay and the ocean (two blocks away), we didn’t even take the car out of the garage for the duration of our three night stay. Would recommend Olive Cafe for pastries in the morning and the Baked Bear (by the pier) for dessert.

We really loved our stay here. The house was perfect for our group. My wife, our two (young) kids, and my parents each had plenty of space and the downstairs worked well as a "family" area for my wife and I and the kids (we could let them nap and still enjoy the upstairs space). The roof deck and balcony were awesome to hang out on, particularly at sunrise and sunset, and the garage fit two cars!

The house is set up very strangely but might not be a prob for someone else. You have to go up 2 flights of stairs to get to main level and then bring luggage to the back of the house and down a flight for addl bedrooms. The garage is share with other townhouse so wide open. One car fit but bottomed out when backing out as street dips in middle. The view was not as pictured. When you get to roof deck, there was a whole flat roof between you and the water. You overlook the roof. The main are is very small but very nice. The sinks leaked, especially in kitchen. Area is mostly bohemian in style but walkable and cute. This is bay side but iverlooks a huge parking lot. I traveled with 2 adult women and they had to share a bathroom downstairs as there are two bathrooms on top floor.

This beach house was a prime location. The pictures do not do justice. They got new furniture etc. House had everything you needed. You do have to share garage with below renter. Everything worked out ok and renter below were great and respectful. Love this house. We come to San Diego every year and will definitely use this location in future.

The property was not clean and had many issues -- all the drains were backed up, both the sinks and showers. In the master bathroom, there is mold on the ceiling in the shower. There are many stairs up to the property -- which were difficult for older individuals and a stroller. There were also no gates at the property, including on the top of the stairs. The door would not lock, we had to contact the property manager and could not leave the home. The freezer on the refrigerator did not work properly and we lost groceries. The rooftop is blocked and you cannot see the water. All of the sliding doors are difficult to open, specifically the screen portion. For the amount of money we paid to stay in this home, I do not recommend it. Very displeased with the property and with VRBO - this was our first time using the company and will be the last. I have attempted to email and call, no response.

We planned a summer getaway with friends and found this location. The pictures are little outdated with the future textiles having been updated sometime. Our group planned to cook a lot and the kitchen was well stocked, however, the Weber grill on the terrace lacked the BTUs need for some serious grilling. On a similar note, we were a group of 8, so the dinning/kitchen table wasn't very accommodating - we were able to eat but it was VERY snug. We also didn't use the roof-top terrace as much as we thought we would, really just to access the grill. Lastly, we brought something water equipment such as seat-easy and paddle boards, and with the duplex being the top unit, be ready to climb and carry lot of stairs if you decide to bring your own water toys. Overall, the duplex was great, we'd stay there again. The only recommendations to the owner would be to replace the north-side garage shower head, it no longer works as designed and currently functions more as a water mister. Also, a new grill and some additional share on the terrace would be nice.

Everything was amazing, very clean, very comfortable beds. The only complaints I have is all the lights on upper balcony didn't work except one and a few were out on the stairwell up to the balcony and a few were out on the inside downot airs stairwell. Beautiful property and location.

We had a great time, location was great, kitchen was well stocked. Wifi went down one morning and management responded with a fix very quickly. Only issue was the couch is horribly stained, we had to put a blanket over it to feel comfortable sitting on it. Recommend having it cleaned ASAP.

A great location and very quiet, but some upgrades are needed. The couch should have been retired sometime ago—it sags and is stained. The gas grill is too dirty to heat properly—we had to finish our steaks in the stove. You should be aware that the two lower bedrooms are freezing cold and there’s only one way out—a real problem in case of fire. Oh and don’t try to get in the garage with a larger car. It was scary enough with a Prius.

Bayfront property with great views in a quiet neighborhood. Great beach out front that is perfect for young kids. It's a short walk across the street to the ocean side as well. We enjoyed the Weber gas grill on the rooftop deck. Plenty of seating for a large family there as well. The bedding is very comfortable in the house was clean on arrival.

We loved this home and it was perfect for our family (dad, mom, 2 teens, and an 8 year old). Clean, well equipped, easy access, perfect location. You can walk to rent jet skis, paddle boards, boats and more. Quiet at night, very family friendly.

This townhome is awesome. Not only is it on the bay boardwalk it is centrally located to all the fun Mission Beach has to offer. The roof top has lounge furniture and views of the bay for days. We will definitely be back.
