Checkin was a nightmare due to remote checkin via a Kiosk not in person. The Kiosk used a remote person who was hard to understand and invoked a lengthy process. Note no elevator but the location was excellent and Davis always a pleasure to visit. The rooms are remodeled, light breakfast provided and live staff at the facility were excellent, but please dump the ESL Kiosk.

The internet wifi did not work. It worked when I got there, then stopped. This is the second stay at this hotel this happened. I tried to call the front desk. The phone in the room did not work at all. There rarely is anybody at the front desk. Instead the have a kiosk where you talk to somebody in some other part of this world. But, when I walked to the front desk to get help with the wifi... the kiosk robot guy was a break ???? lol ...ok I also wanted towels for the swimming pool. Finally a young lady came out to work at the front desk to help me. She got the towels, and gave me a phone # to call about the wifi. I spent an hour on a cellphone call with the internet people macrotech. they thought they fixed it, but not in my room. I called back and spent another hour on the phone and they thought they fixed the wifi again. It worked for 15 minutes, then quit. It is cheap and the location is convenient but I will not stay there again.

1. No one seems to work at the front desk ever. When I checked in I had to walk around for 15 minutes before I found someone. 2.The Kiosk does not always work. When I checked in the machine was down, when I need to adjust my stay the speaker was not working - they had to call the house keeper on her private call phone to help me, and she could not get me a key to my room. 3. If no one is at the front desk, who keeps out the homeless? Who keeps out the thieves. 4. When I go to my car and people are sleeping next to it, I think there is a security issue. The chances of me recommending this hotel chain to my guests and clients is not likely

Place was clean. Convenient to Davis. Bed and pillows comfy. Can bring dog. Fine for a one night stopover. Downside was can hear the conversations (and singing) of the people in the next room, and the continental breakfast was at the lower end of average (svenhardt plastic wrapped danishes, sugary yoplait yogurt, meh coffee, but did have apples and bananas and there’s a Starbucks two blocks away, so whatever).

Clean and recently refurbished. The room was basic but perfectly comfortable and fine. One thing that was a little strange - instead of being greeted by a person, there was a video screen in the lobby with a remote person checking people in. That was odd.

No fitness center on premises. The place is obviously older, but redone somewhat cheaply. There is a kiosk in the lobby that is remotely staffed. The worst part of my stay was that the drains in my first room backed up while I was in the other room. Weird and nasty. They did move me easily though. Wont stay here again.

Nice for a budget hotel. Nice amenities. A little noise from the train and highway. There is a grocery store down the street with a salad bar and hot bar and deli. Also a few little restaurants. Well stocked continental breakfast and Keurig in the room. For the price, it was good.

Stay was overall ok and fit well in our budget, but the bed skirt was stained, there were hand prints on the headboard of the bed, furniture was chipped and dingy, and the windowsills were stained too. However the AC filter was clean, blankets were clean, and heater worked well. There is a Dominos right next door which was very convenient. Overall I would conside r staying again if I had to.

It is a new property .I have stayed at other places like Marriott and Hilton around the area , but this place has been so far the best .They cleaned the room even without me requesting it .When we went it we didn;t complain but they replaced the A/C and heater as it was giving error.We just used the knobs and we didn't bother to complain , but they came themselves and replaced it. Only comment is lack of staff at front desk while checking out , but the virtual one did just fine
