Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The estate is wonderfully private and has great amenities. The house and furnishings are high quality, though they are starting to show their age and use as a rental. For the price, it's a great value- tons of space and activities for a very reasonable price. My only significant issues were 1- the WIFI is so slow it is not possible to do much more than check email. No streaming, no video calls, etc. 2- the inside was clean, but the outdoor furniture was dirty and starting starting to break. There are lots of birds, which is nice, but they left a mess on the furniture that the house cleaners apparently didn't address. I cleaned it myself on arrival and it was fine the rest of the stay.

This was a beautiful house and property when it was new. However, there are many things in the house that need to be refurbished. Especially the carpet in the areas that have wall to wall carpet. The carpet is old, dirty, and feels kinda crusty underfoot. The house is not as advertised since they have some restrictions not mentioned in their ad. The master bedroom is supposed to have a walk in closet, but it was locked, so nowhere to hang your clothes. The waterfall over the pool is lovely, but you are only supposed to run it 3 hours a day. Our grandkids swam all day and most of the night, and it was disappointing not to have the waterfall. Some of the light switches worked and some didn't. One of the TVs didn't work. The game room is separate from the house and has no wifi. The slope into the pool was coated with algae, and some of us slipped on it. The check-in process was confusing as we were sent a different gate code at the last minute, but it didn't work. Then we were instructed to enter the property thru the garage, and the code we were given didn't work for that either. We finally worked it out after calling the number we were given. I know these are all small things, but together they added up to enough that I would not stay here again unless it was refurbished. We did have a good time, despite the problems, but I could not give this property a 5-star rating.

This property and it appointments were absolutely outstanding! The owner clearly cares about your experience, and has provided everything to ensure a wonderful, comfortable stay. Whenever we return my family votes this property as our number one pick. The kitchen was so well appointed that we opted to stay in and cook a couple of days as it was so inviting. All of the facilities beg you to just stay in make it your home for a few days. I have to mention that the pool, Jacuzzi and backyard amenities were absolutely amazing as well. 10 out of 10!
