The private spa was nice but all places to stay in Rotorua seem to have that. The room itself was quite gross, all the bedding had big stains on it. Black mould in the bathroom and bedroom on all metal surfaces. Towels had big long hairs on them.

The property frontage was maintained but unfortunately the cleaners have let the place down with room cleanliness and general maintenance within the room. Unfortunately on hot days there is no air conditioning units in the rooms. Great for a short stay where only a bed is required.

Lots of space especially when parking car, not so noisy compared to hotels closer to the city, liked the spa area. Tv reception could be staticky sometimes, was hot in the room, fans were ok. Easy quick check in.

We had an upstairs room which was a bonus because we had good views , the owner was very nice and gave us his own hot chocolate mix which we could keep in the room for drinks, the cleaner missed cleaning the unit properly, and my partner found a large pubic hair in the spa bath 😱

Property was OK, but issue was that unit beside mine were using the spa outside to 2:30 am in the morning, making a lot of noise, with outside visitors, who finally left at 3am.

Value for money
Was looking for cost effective accommodation in rotovegas and Fenton Court seemed ok online. Unit was clean and tidy, although the bathroom was looking like a makeover and had to careful using shower as you had to step up into a spa bath could have easily slipped! Beds were comfortable for a 1 night stay. Does have kinda of thin walls between units and could hear your neighbours. Overall suited our needs.

Room was in serious need of a clean and maintenance. Ranch slider door didn’t lock properly as runner needed to be fixed. Couch was old and ripped. Kitchen cupboard doors didn’t close. Bathroom sink was blocked and shower was moldy and needed a serious clean. No alarm clock or clock of any kind in the room. No smoke detector in second bedroom. No property information of any kind in room.

Location was good the heater and spa bath were good but the facilities were not so good. There were stains in the carpet and curtains. there were marks on the wall. The cupboards were very low and hard to bend down to at our age. The microwave was old and not secured so it moved when you pushed the control buttons. We saw a cockroach climbing up the wall. Our car park (Number 15) was very difficult to park in and we got blocked in twice with people parking across our car park. The bed was comfortable and warm. There was no dish washing facilities and the coffee were badly stained. We would not stay at this motel again nor would we recommend it to any of our friends. We were very disappointed
