« The pub was busy and bustling, yet welcoming. Olivia greeted us, smiling and friendly. She was informative and nothing was too much trouble. She gave a really good first impression of the place Breakfast was excellent (Full English and Eggs Benedict). We were once again served by the lovely Olivia. Our room was small but the bathroom was spacious. Although the view was not one to write home about, the room itself (Room 5) served our needs for one night - very comfortable bed. « We had Heritage Room 4 for a two night stay. Very spacious room and large ensuite. Lots of windows, so lots of fresh air and light. Very clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant were of a very high standard too. Friendly/polite staff, good range of drinks options and the food was superb. Absolutely recommend this venue for a stay. »

« Room was cosy size but fine for one person. Weather was hot so I was glad of the fan provided. I had to close the window as unfortunately there was a lot of noise from the Tavern behind going on till 1am at least. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit. Beautifully cooked English breakfast. I specially liked having a pot of coffee to linger over. »
