It was a very challenging guest from the moment he checked in. He came to the office with a towel, complaining that a really tiny piece of the plant was stuck to it. Considering the hotel is nestled in a tropical garden and is advertised as such, incidents like this might happen, although they had never occurred before. We apologized and promptly replaced the towel. However, he remained rude and displayed an authoritative demeanor, demanding 20 in compensation. We refused to give him the 20, so he threatened to write a negative review. We acknowledged that everyone is entitled to their opinion and agreed to his decision. We've noticed that some people believe that by threatening with a bad review, they can obtain whatever they desire from the hotel. That marked the end of our conversation—or so we thought. To our surprise, he continued to complain later that afternoon, returning to the office with an even worse attitude. He complained about the sheets and threw them at the hotel staff. He also expressed dissatisfaction with the Wi-Fi not working properly, all while displaying a lack of respect towards the staff. Eventually, in an effort to resolve the unpleasant situation, we gave in and offered him a free breakfast. We were greatly relieved when he finally left.
