« Somewhat my fault for not recognizing this is sort of a hybrid Bed and Breakfast/VRBO type facility. Expedia did not really make that clear. Requires signing up for check-in web app to get entry code. No on-sight desk staff. Not a problem, but should be more prominent on Expedia listing. Promised evening dining options were not available due to apparent staff turnover. We had hoped to have a quick evening dining option that did not require driving/parking in Gatlinburg (roughly 1 mile...

« Staff was wonderful. Room was large and clean with two sinks. Parking was wonderful with a spot for our car and u-haul. Walking distance to all the attractions and Sky Bridge. Quiet room. Our fire alarm needed a new battery when we arrived and the staff came immediately to fix it. My only complaint was that the water didn’t drain from the shower very well so I had to stand in water while I showered. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again. »

« It was a decent stay, the thing that was bothersome was at night you really notice how loud the ac unit is plus you can hear the one above your window too. Its off the main strip but convenient to everything. We would probably stay again. »

« On checking in the room was very tired and dated. The balcony was unusable with no furniture and very small. Our room allocated was opposite the noisy lift. Even though we were staying at the hotel there is an unexpected $18 per day parking charge. It was the worst DoubleTree hotel I've ever seen. That bad we didn't stay and immediately checked out (never done this before). Interestingly the staff didn't seemed surprised we were not staying. Rubbish »

« We stayed one night in the honeymoon cottage. A last minute get away with my husband. It was so cute. The prefect little cottage. It was very clean and overlooks the river. We will def stay here again. »
