Hôtel très agréable
L'hôtel a été rénové, les chambres sont propre et assez spacieuse pour un hôtel sur Copacabana. Le seul bémol était le rooftop en travaux, hâte de voir à la réouverture mais l'hôtel est très bien situé, quartier animé et personnel serviable présent H24. Le service a été impeccable.

Mainly for the location
The main interest of this hotel is the location which is great for ipanema and copacabana. The beds are confortable, the breakfast is typical Brasil and is good. AC is strong in the room. Otherwise the hotel has many negatives. General cleanliness of the floors in the lobby, and elevator is low. Elevators are in bad shape, one of the elevator had defective floor display!. Room housekeeping leave a lot to be desired. Everyday had an issue, floors not dusted/cleaned, missing towels, missing shampoo. Wi-FI is a puzzle, although the AP was facing the room, the signal in the room was weak often disconnecting and when connected, extrely slow. Not a good price/quality ratio. Having stayed in all brands of Accor hotel chain many times (Ibis, Ibis style, Mercure, Novotel, Sofitel ) the chain should investigate the status of the hotel, it is damaging to the brand name and certainly not appropriate

Being a three minute walk to the beach in one direction, and a two minute walk to stores, groceries, pharmacies, etc in the other direction was ideal. When on the beach, one has no idea of being close to anything else. Staff was particularly helpful, friendly and very kind. Staff and location were the big things. Of course it was clean. It is not a luxury hotel in the sense I think of luxury hotel...but it had all the amenities of a luxury hotel at normal-people rates.

Lovely staff, great location, great room and cleanliness. We stayed at the family room as a family of 4 and it was a big room and we didnt feel overcrowded. We lived it and would definitely stay again

My room had a mildew smell. I didn’t care to change and complain but I probably could’ve asked. The staff was very nice and room cleaning each day seemed decent enough though I don’t know how thoroughly they clean. I clipped my nails and saw one of the clippings there the days going forward so I don’t know if a thorough floor cleanse is daily. All of my cleaning people were nice though and I could tell the toilet and shower was cleaned each day Area around the hotel was great! Very walkable, very safe besides the occasional aggressive hobo. Free beach umbrella and chair each day was AWESOME! The rooftop terrace in the photos does not exist

I recommend if they offer good price. I'd go back!
It's a nice hotel, with a great breakfast, good Wi-Fi, comfortable bed and pillows. It's close to many nice restaurants, some of them authentic Brazilian . The room is very spacious, and the price is moderated. I had intention to extend my stay for more three days, and that would be with my husband coming form US, however, I never got the price and if I could stay in the same room. Then , I moved to another nice hotel.

Wir waren insgesamt zufrieden und besonders von äusserst guten Service und freundlichem Personal beeindruckt - von veganen Optionen beim Frühstück auf Anfrage bis zur Möglichkeit, nach dem Auschecken nochmal im Fitness zu duschen. Etwas negativ: die Infrastruktur/Zimmer/Klimaanlage, Fenster, und vor allem das Fitness sind schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Zum Beispiel hat von 4 Laufbändern nur eines funktioniert. Es gibt hier also noch Luft nach oben, insbesondere bei einem 5* Hotel.

Hotel looked nice, room was spacious and staff welcoming. Location good for attractions, but a little restless/shady in the evenings. For a 4 star hotel I was surprised they charged us for coffee capsules they provided in the room. Have never seen a 4 star hotel without complimentary coffee or water.

Localização muito boa. Hotel em reforma, piscina sem funcionamento. Academia precisa de reforma e ar condicionado. Quarto com poeira embaixo das camas, o ar condicionado do quarto horrível, barulhento, ligava e desligava o motor a madrugada inteira! Café da manhã muito bom. Opções boas para quem quer uma alimentação mais saudável ou tem restrições. O atendimento dos funcionários é o ponto alto, todos muito gentis, com destaque para Roberto (recepção) e o pessoal que faz os omeletes e tapiocas.

It is an OK hotel, in a good location as it is very close to the beach. The staff is friendly and very helpful but this is not what I would describe as an upscale hotel. I found the room to be a bit uncomfortable. My main issue was the cleanliness. At the beach, I could not find a tent it Keep in mind that if you need to iron or use a hair dryer, you need to request these and they may not be available. I found the room to be uncomfortable,

Apesar da píscina estar em manutenção a estadia foi perfeita, o hotel tem a melhor cama do mundo e um cafe da manha impecavel, otima locaização perto de tudo mercado, farmacia e a praia poucos metros. feriado perfeito.
