« This place had some lovely little touches to it, from the trolly cart to ferry our belongings to a receiving a welcome letter from Charlie. We had a lovely couple of days here. Spent time in the hot tub and the evenings by the fire pit after having a lovely BBQ. There were kids in the fields behind paying foot ball in what must have been their back garden which that's perfectly fine but i think the swearing shocked us a little bit. However that said we still had a lovely time. Felt sad...

« Very nice quaint cottage everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed very comfy. The only downside for me was the very steep narrow stairs but were manageable. The owner was very nice and helpful lovely breakfast basket left in the kitchen with bacon eggs tomatoes bread butter and milk. A fire made in the grate just needed lighting. I had a very pleasant stay would definitely stay there again. »

« We absolutely love Walnut Cottage. It is like a home from home, so cosy and comfortable. The owners and the caretaker are so lovely and helpful. The kitchen has everything we need. We love the fire and the garden and the cottage is beautiful. We always take our dogs and they love it too. Lots of nice walks locally, lots of shops nearby for food shopping and lovely places to visit. The road outside can be busy but inside we don’t notice and the cottage more than makes up for it. We would love...

« A very cosy, comfortable place to stay to explore the surrounding area. Just a few minutes from beaches, local towns and historic places to explore. Lamb Barn had everything we needed for a week's stay and the owners were very helpful and approachable. As others have mentioned the noise from the road was the negative. « Rural location, perfect for peace and quiet. Appears beautifully old but with modern conveniences. Friendly owners who were attentive but not intrusive. Also keen to know how they could improve our stay. Plenty of dog walks nearby. Stunning building with a great story .. Warm and cosy inside. Maybe tricky staircases to bedrooms for some??? Worth investigating beforehand but not a problem for us. Relaxing stay. »

The biscuits and wine was very much appreciated after our long journey. The cottage was clean and very welcoming. The bed was comfortable and bathroom stocked with essentials too. Great base for seeing Suffolk. Do not hesitate to book this gem. »
